Q: Does it go over the factory grip or instead of?

It can go over the factory grip since it’s disposable. I like to feel the bevels. So I use it instead of the factory grip. I put it over the naked wood after removing the factory grip. It’s really a personal choice. If you put it over the factory grip, it will increase grip size but it will feel more cushiony.

Q: How much does this add to the size of the grip? 1/8"? Less/more? Thank you for any insights.

Tourna grip is the best.... for a 4 1/8 grip, I'd get the XL instead of the XXL if you're concerned about it adding too much to your grip size.

Q: How much longer are these than the xl version? i've been using the xl and it isn't enough to fully cover my handle

My son is a tennis pro/ coach. He is able to cover every grip.
