I recently got the Racebeast RC Boat for my son and I and have taken it out a few times on both a lake and in our pool. It’s an absolute blast on the water. Right out of the box it feels solid and well built, the carrying bag and foam insulation make it easy to carry around and not worry about it getting smashed in the trunk. On the water this little boat is fast and totally hits the 40mph mark. Watch out in the pool as this thing gets to the other side in the blink of an eye. The self-righting feature actually worked for us when it flipped in a sharp turn and popped right back over. The controls are responsive and I love that it has different speed settings, which helped my son try it out safely too. The LED lights are a nice touch for evening runs and the low battery warning saved us from losing it off shore. The waterproofing held up perfectly, just make sure to leave it open to dry after use to ensure the bay is completely dry for your next ride. The battery life is about 15 minutes so I’d recommend grabbing a second one to lessen down time. Overall, it’s been a fun, fast, and reliable RC boat that’s great for both serious RC fans and beginners.

This boat can MOVE!! I purchased this for my kids and I to take to the pond and I did not realize how much fun it would be. The controls work well and the boat is responsive. It holds a charge for a good while also. It went under the water a few times and due to the seal it was perfectly fine. Seems to be very durable and will last a while without messing up which is a good piece of mind. It also comes with a little carrying case for it as well. It also has LED lights that light up so you can see it in the dark. We have had a lot of fun with it so far its way different than the cars and trucks we have. It shoots up a nice rooster tail. Very fun and something different!

This RC boat is super fun and fast! It can go over 30 MPH and works great in lakes, rivers, pools, and even saltwater. The brushless motor runs smooth and stays cool with water-cooling. If it flips over, it fixes itself fast with the self-righting feature. The LED lights look awesome, especially at night. It's strong and waterproof, even with waves or weeds. The remote works far and tells you when the battery is low or out of range. You can also change the speed, which is great for kids or small spaces. It's fun for both beginners and adults. My young child was able to control it with very little learning curve on a small lake in our city. Overall, it’s a great deal and very fun to use!

Fun little boat! Had the chance to try it out yesterday and it was a lot of fun! Pretty dang quick and great for the price. 4 stars for a few reasons, the battery lasted a pretty good amount of time for me, maybe 20-30 minutes but as hard as I searched I couldn't find where to buy more of them so I could have longer run times with it, it uses a very specific type and size/shape of battery and I wish they had a link or something to be able to buy more of them. The low battery feature is great to have although it doesn't tell you how much time you have to get it back before it dies completely, as well as that you have to turn the speed down to do so once that alarm starts going off, I thought it was dead and stuck in the middle again because I didn't realize you have to turn the speed limiter down to get it to move at that point. Lastly, the boat tilts to the left due to the weight of the battery, making it turn really well to that side but does not turn nearly as well or quick to the right. Definitely would recommend this little boat, it's fast and fun and great for beginners without breaking the bank.

Purchased this for my grandson’s 7th birthday. Very nice boat with great features. It’s fast and very responsive to the controller. Runs for about 20 minutes when the battery is fully charged and charging time isn’t bad. I will be buying a few extra batteries so he can spend more time with it on the water. The low battery indicator works great so the boat doesn’t get stranded on the water. The ability to right it when it capsizes with a button on the controller is a great feature. I also purchased a 3 year warranty since he is only 7 and accidents happen !!!

Powerful, Fast and Fun. I've used it in my 18' x 38' swimming pool many times over the last 10 days since I received it. Pairing with the remote is excellent. The controls are very responsive. The trim on the steering works but it needs to be adjusted based on the speed setting. As others have commented, the power to the motor and its speed is reduced while executing a turn. I find this somewhat annoying. I like the speed setting and find that top speed in my pool is over the top, so I usually operate it at 3/4 in the pool which is still FUN. The battery lasts about 15-20 minutes or so while running it at 3/4 speed. The charger unit and the USB device I plug it into gets hot even though it does not show the full charge condition. I charge it only for about an hour due to this heating and then unplug it. I still get the 15-20 minute run time and find that acceptable. Reverse works. The low battery warning is great. When I hear it, I know it's time to get it back to me and pull out the battery for a recharge. Speed control works very well. I've capsized it many times and the self-righting process works occasionally. The double seal feature works great and keeps water out of the hull. It's held up very well so far and it's probably a great gift idea for 12 year olds and up if they have access to a large pool or pond.
