I was looking for a weather radio after the ice storms we recently had and found this one for about half the price as the bigger digital ones. It's analog, but easy to use. It comes with AM, FM, and WB. The flash lights work well and it charges with no problem. I wish it had a compartment for batteries instead of having to rely on the built-in lithium batteries, but that's a minor inconvenience. This is small enough to take hiking or camping. I wish the antenna was a little longer for better WB reception, but it works as is. Recommended.

Only reason I give it four stars because of the performance of The thing is because of when you trying to charge your phone and dealing with sunlight for your emergency survival radio it's going to be hard because when you have sunlight it will not work when there is sunlight or even a light making it active where it may not going to politely will not charge your phone where the solar light will active to be charging but I wish they have an option to where it could charge by the solar in the same time when your phone is charging on the power bank

POSITIVES: -Small size, fits in your hands comfortably -Rotating dial for radio -comes with strap -comes with USB cord -hand crank NEGATIVES: -The solar power does not work, i have left it to charge for a couple of hours in full light. First time the with solar charging light did not turn on, charged it a second time the next day and charging light turned red indicating it was actively charging. I tried using the radio and flashlight the same day after solar charging and it did not turn on. -The only way to charge is through the crank. -Flashlight is dim and has visible rings that impare the environment around you. -NOT waterproof, the actual device itself is not waterproof and says so in the instructions. -The body is hollow plastic and will not hold up if it gets bumped or thrown around. I will keep this as a last second backup or put it downstairs in the kitchen for a quick pick up if the lights go out. I have several different emergency radios and ill keep shopping around for a better one thats similar to this size.

Nice little radio. Everything works on it as it should except the weather station but that is because out weather station is out right now - not the radio's fault lol. I did take a point off because it said it was going to be green and it showed up as black.

it does what it says...gets radio stations, light turns on, solar charger seems to work easy- i put it 4 feet away from my window sill, amd the solar charging indicator comes on.
