Delivers on it's promise and is overall worth the price
Sound isolation: Actually really good at what they advertise, IMO. I bought those so I could take them to work and not have to listen to my coworker a cubicle over loudly crunching on nuts the whole day. It's definitely effective - I don't notice the nut crunching anymore. I also don't notice coworkers stopping by my cubicle anymore because I can't hear them approaching, but eh I'm OK with that tradeoff. Audio quality seems pretty good to me. Definitely better than the open ear open back headphones I got from Phillips a while ago for a similar price. It's probably just the sound muffling, but the music/sound is more immersive than my previous solution. Size: Surprisingly, it just about fits on my big ol head, which is probably bigger than 95% of the general population. It clamps on pretty tight, but it hasn't felt uncomfortable just yet. Coord: The audio cord is built in. Thankfully it seems to be a fairly sturdy cord, which seems to be just the right length for me to move about my cubicle but also not tangled under my chair or something. So if you specifically need a short or rather long cable this may not work, but it should be fine for the majority of usecases

Excellent for Drummers and Loud Environments
I’ve tried several isolation headphones, and the Vic Firth SIH3 is by far one of the best for the price. These are made specifically for musicians who need to cut down external noise while still hearing their mix or a click track clearly—and they deliver. -Sound Quality: The audio is clean and focused, with strong mids and lows. Not studio monitor quality, but perfect for tracking and practice. -Noise Isolation: This is where the SIH3 really shines. It blocks out a ton of ambient noise (up to 25dB), which makes a huge difference when you’re behind a loud kit or in a rehearsal space. -Comfort: The upgraded padding on the headband and ear cups is a big improvement from previous versions. I can wear them for hours without discomfort—though they can get a bit warm after extended use. -Build Quality: They feel sturdy and well-made, great for regular use. The cable isn’t detachable, which might bother some people, but it’s tough and seems built to last. If you're a drummer, musician, or just someone looking for solid hearing protection with decent sound, these are a fantastic choice. Highly recommend!

Great noise isolation
I have a small head, these fit perfectly. I can see it being a bad choice for larger heads. It works great for blocking noise like gun muffs, then adding music, you don't hear any outside noises.

They are a little tight on my ears but the sound quality is very good.
These are good quality. They muffle the outside noise. They work really well with my drums.

Great Drumming Headphones
I just purchased these for playing drums and I can’t imagine needing anything more. There are other sets out there with better sound quality, but very nominal. They are very rugged and they block sound very well, but you can still hear enough to know what’s going on-on your kit. I am 100% deaf in my left ear with perfect hearing in my right ear and these are very helpful. Who would’ve figured Vic Firth would make great headphones for drumming :-)

Good sound isolation for band rehersals, protection from hearing damage.
I use these headphones for rehearsals to help protect from further hearing damage. Using behringer in ear amp, works great. Everything is clear, and can not hear drummers snare crack in my ear as much. These help protect your hearing so you can continue to play longer and avoid tinnitus.

I rarely write product reviews on Amazon but I need to give a big thumbs up to these. I work in film music and often need to listen to the output of offline computers in very loud environments. These are fabulous and have seem of the best acoustic isolation I've come across. Sound, whilst not as great as some open-backed designs is very good. Build quality and feel also great. Slightly tight on the head but that only helps isolation in my book. Recommended.
