My wife asked me to order this hair straightener for her becasue our daughters keep taking hers from our bathroom. She says she wanted a flat iron that had a smaller heat plate. My wife says this one is much easier to use than the current one she has. She stated that this flat iron is easier to maneuver because of the compact size and 1" heating plate. She said it heats up very fast and worked great! She likes that it has an LCD screen showing the temperature so it takes the guessing out of the heat up wait time. I uploaded some picture of both hair straighteners so you can see the difference in the heat plate and the overall size of the units. But if you are looking, my wife definitely recommends this one.

I am returning mine because the plates don’t meet up evenly. They will touch at the en but as you go toward the base they don’t touch unless you press super hard and then it still won’t grab your hair evenly. Pass on this one folks! Poor design!

The light that signals that the straightener is turned on does not light and its reason whether or not it actually does turn on and get hot. Ill be returning this.
