PTC7.25 Inch Dragon Beauty with Purple Rose Jewelry/Trinket Box Figurine

A nice and heavy piece so it stays firmly where you put it. Obviously beautifully designed and with enough space inside to hold almost any piece of jewelry.The dragon's face is not as well done as it could be, but nothing poor enough to take a star off. The colours in the photo are wrong - it's undergone some sort of photoshop filter to brighten it. The colours on the actual piece are much duller, but I knew that as I had seen this product advertised by another seller with the correct colors. The painting is not very well done where the dragon and rose meet, but that may be intentional to give the piece an antique vibe.Also I wish the inside were padded to protect your jewelry better.And despite everything I mentioned: 5 stars

I love the quality, but the rose is surprisingly disappointing. It's not the rich purple seen in the photo. The dragon is lovely, I just wish the purple rose matched the photo.

Very disappointed. Arrived with a wing broken clean off despite an inspection sticker. And now it's up from 33.99 to 49.99? Crazy.Luckily, I managed to reattach the wing using a strong jewelry glue. I'm sort of shocked it worked so well. I can see that while the dragon itself is lovely, the wings are poorly designed in so far as their point of attachment is too narrow for the heft of their expanse. It's a miracle this piece was salvageable at all with glue but I am careful to only lift the top off by holding the base and not grabbing for the wings.I miss the days when you could just attach a picture of damage in a timely manner and get at least a partial refund. Now it's expected that the consumer is to deal with the hassle of repackaging and re-mailing every item that is arrives broken or damaged (and isn't even fit for resale) in order to get refunded. It ended being easier to just try and fix it.So in summary unless you have the time, inclination, patience and/or jewelry glue necessary to repair it, don't bother to roll the dice of chance to see if it can arrive in one piece. Frankly, it wasn't worth the frustration for me and while it is pretty, it just reminds me what a pain it was to deal with. *Sorry for the rant but just spare yourself :)

Anne Stokes' Dragon Beauty is my favorite of her designs. This box does not disappoint. Made solid, with a nice soft felt like bottom to keep it from scratching my wooden surface. Super happy I picked this up

This was an aniversary/marriage proposal box to my future wife that absolutely loved it.

It's a nice piece except that it was packaged broken, looks like I'm not the only one who has had this happen to them. That was my fault for not seeing the previous reviews. A real shame that people do this to their customers.

This is perfect. It was packaged very well. Arrived in perfect condition. My daughter absolutely loves it.
