Perfect Picture Book
Brilliant picture book, we got the German version, as we have some interest in that language, but as it's a picture book, it's up to you to create the narrative.A wonderful tool for emerging language in any child.

The Wimmelbuch Series does not have a lot of writing but more pictures, encouraging you as the parent to explore each story with your child interactively.

Tiny version
This is a pocket book sized version of the big board book. Disappointing at this scale.

Love these books
So much to see. A great opportunity for you and the child to hang out and spent quality time together.

What a disappointment!
Beware! Even though this book is classified as a hardcover, this is actually a board book. Tiny board book. So tiny that it's too hard to appreciate any details in the pictures. The idea of the book is good, but this particular edition is useless. Too much pressure on the eyes.

Engaging and detailed picture book
This is one of four books, each looking at the same small town in a different season. We currently only have the first two, but are planning to get the next ones. You don't have to speak German to appreciate these, as there is no text (other than shop signs etc), and it's completely obvious what things are and what's going on from the clear illustrations. It's a real joy discovering all the little plot turns as you follow the characters through; there are accidents, escaping pets, romance, and some great characters getting on with their everyday lives. Our son loves them, and is always excited when new stories crop up in the images, and to be honest, his parents rather enjoy them too! These picture books are a lovely way to engage young children in the world around them, as well as helping them develop their imagination and ability to follow though a story or idea. The large board format is also excellent, making them durable, and large enough to fill in a towns worth of activity! Highly recommended.

Raucherbuch

Nice books
Smaller than expectedNice size nevertheless for "reading" with my son in the evening - slightly more activity expected on the pages - but since we bought the whole series - there is enough to go by
