I was at a very luxurious hotel with my son and everything they made was from scratch. I talked to the cork which is a beautiful lady and they had worked there for years. I had actually been doing. I'm cooking for nice hotels for over 25 years. And I told her that I had never had bitter gumbo soup, and my grandfather used to make it from scratch. And she told me to come back in the kitchen, and she said everything she made, it was from scratch, but one thing, and this was it. She was so excited about it that she gave me. I beg of this, and that's how exciting this is. If you like gumbo, you will never have anything better, and when I tell you that it's impossible to believe, because you just add water. And follow the directions, and that's all she told me. She said, just don't think you're gonna doctor it up. I don't do anything strange, she said. Follow the directions and she told me that she's gotten in the past a few cook jobs, but I'm making that for restaurants. It's that good. And you can look at my Facebook page. I cook every day you would think by just adding water. It would be like some military dried food. You can forget about all that 10 stars out of 10. You would never know that this was not totally made from scratch, and I'm talking right from the vegetables. To the chicken, everything, I don't know how they do it. And I don't care. I just know that III just ordered 8 of them and each package have 17 small servings. Actually, each package is one gallon. It just follow the directions and you will have company that you will never tell them how you made it. Because it's none of their business, ha ha God bless. I’m sure this is very tasty. Their products usually are. One cautionary note. This serves 18. Unless you’re intending to host a big group beware.

This soup is so tasty, with a slightly piquant kick.

1. Too salty 2. Noodles not as pictured. Upside, you can divide it out and make a smaller portion if only one person is feeling sick. Did not find it good as a leftover, slimy.

Purchased one case (4 pack). After three shipments have rec'd. 3/4 of the case. (1 bags per shipment). Very hard to correct, STILL WORKING ON.....
