I love this little gadget. Should have bought one years ago. We have a long curvy driveway and not a lot of windows at the front of our house to see if a car pulls up. This works perfectly and instantly as soon as the car passes by, the doorbell rings. There are endless options for chimes but we like the traditional "ding dong." It's not been set off by squirrels or birds but was dinging like crazy one night due to a herd of deer in the drive. Easy set up, nice range, seems sturdy, 100% happy so far.

Easy to set up with plenty of customisation. Sensor is at waist height, about 400m away through forest and triggers fine. Detects vehicles as well as pedestrians at default sensitivity. Few false positives - probably close birds or wallabies. Product meets the need for which it was purchased so hopefully the batteries/panel will hold out.

I purchased a two sensor system approx 1 month ago and immediately installed the system which is very, very, easy to install. The system is installed at my rural vacation home and I would consider it a challenging location for this product. The house is located on top of a hill and the first sensor is located at the bottom of the hill over a 1/4 mile away and the signal is partially blocked by foliage, the hill, and the house itself from the receiver. The second sensor is located about halfway up the hill and is approx +800' from the receiver and it also does not have line of sight to the receiver. The second sensor is also partially blocked by the hill and house itself from the receiver and also has numerous trees between the receiver and is mounted on the back side of an approx 6' diameter tree away from the receiver. Both sensors are working great and as others have noted, sensors are subject to being triggered by animals. The second sensor is located in a somewhat shady location that does not receive any direct sun which does not seem to be affecting it's ability to stay charged. The first sensor receives approximately 6 hours of direct sunlight. Both sensors seem to be charging without issue. Also, we have experienced several days of rainy, overcast, weather which had no affect on the operation of either sensors. The instructions are easy to understand and I changed the alarm sounds and sensitivity of both sensors which was very easy. There are lots of various sounds to choose from and I chose two different sound settings so we could distinguish which sensor has been activated which helps in verifying that a vehicle or person is in fact coming up the driveway. We occasionally get single warnings which are triggered by animals but mounting the sensors where there is a minimum of animal activity is something you may want to consider. Initially, I had one of the sensors mounted a little too close to where birds would occasionally feed and a bird simply flying through the sensor's beam would trigger the sensor. So far, I would not hesitate to recommend this driveway alarm system but I cannot attest to the longevity. I'll try to remember to update this review after a year of operation and if I experience any negative issues I will definitely update this review. So far, I am very happy with the performance of this system and am happy to make a positive recommendation for purchase.

I bought this two sensor system to monitor my driveway on 2 June 20. I set one sensor at the entrance and the other one half way down to confirm someone was coming in. The system was easy to setup but I did have to read the instructions several times to understand turn on and off and sensor setings. The system work fine till the end of June then my midway sensor started malfunctioning. I emailed: contact@saferhomee and related the problem. The owner had me verify my purchase numbers, (he even offered a few suggestions on setup, which I tried but the sensor still did not work), and sent me a new sensor within two days by UPS. Adding the new sensor to the receiver was easy and I was soon back in business. Mr. Robin Yang at saferhomee was vey responsive and provided great customer service. I plan to add more senors at a later date.
