Why did you pick this product vs others?: I was searching for a last resort help aid for my senior dog dealing with an infection in her leg. This was expensive for something that might or might not work after having tried so many prescriptions and vet visits, but I bought what I thought was a quality brand due to the tracking of the source and at the level of UMF and MGO rating that I thought would make a difference (I did a bit of online research). At first I used it along with other topical ointments including a strong prescription antibiotic that I had been using. I could see a difference, but once the prescription ended I began to use it solo and I wish I had tried that sooner. It began to heal and cause her less issue in a matter of days that I didnt see in weeks from prescriptions and other costly high end over the counter remedies for infections. This likely saved her leg, her life, and my heart. I would clean her leg thoroughly with a wound cleaner, let it dry, spray it with an over the counter germ killer and antiseptic pain killer for her comfort, let that dry, and then I would use a q-tip dipped in the honey to gently press the honey into the wound area. Then I would dress the wound with guaze and vet wrap, then covered by a cut adult sock lightly vet wrapped at the top to keep it up on her leg. It was quite an undertaking for a long time and until the honey was used little improvement. Sharing pictures would be horrible, so let me say there were times her vet and I discussed drastic measures and I prepared for emergency situations with her. Nothing would knock it out - it would start to heal but she'd have a set back and sometimes it was a struggle for her not being able to tolerate some meds only to then be given something to keep them down but make her drowsy and without an appetite. There was a lot of trial and error and little success. The honey was a last resort and I wish it had been the first for it worked and she wouldn't have had to go through everything else. The jar is small, as shown in many reviews, but for my use in using it topically it has been affordable and after the results it is more than worth the cost. I did hesitate to try it - wish now I had not. I did question as to if this was good enough to extend the process but I wanted to try and it worked for her. Now she is 98% healed, but I am still applying all over her healed and scared wound area, then covering to keep the infection at bay as I am not ready for her to be without what healed her. I know it was the honey as it was what I used solo that made the difference. If you are in a similar situation, it is worth trying and for me from now on this will be the FIRST thing I reach for when there is a need for healing in my family whether it is human or pets. Other items of interest: Taste: It tastes less sweet and more like a strong raw fresh honey - it is a different taste than honey you might buy for toast or tea but it is pleasant and good. Health benefits: I can imagine this would be a go to for me with any health issues or to keep on the healthy side of things. Right now it is being used to keep my senior dog healthy and infection free. I will continue to always have it on hand for any need we might have and would not hesitate to buy to use internally or externally. Color: It is a dark color and smells great. Texture: Very thick. I dip several qtips into it and set aside for topical use when dressing my dog's leg and it stays put on the qtip as I transfer it to her leg. Yeah, very thick. A little goes a long way, but I generously covered when using at first and now after healing lightly coat the area. Value for money: Worth every penny. Priceless to me as it saved her leg and possibly her life after trying many other veterinarian options from a vet that has worked miracles in the past - nothing was working to turn the tide fully until I used the honey. Thickness: As mentioned, very thick but would be easy to spread and easy to spoon out if needed. Hope this helps you make a decision and I would highly recommend and say try it sooner rather than later.

The best honey in the world. I mixed it with my face cream for sagging and wrinkles. Great with organic herbal teas. I’m trying a half teaspoon for energy. A very small jar for the price.

At first I was concerned bottle says “Made in New Zealand” instead of “Product of New Zealand” and you can't be too careful these days when paying a lot for the higher grades, but you can: 1. Scan the QR on the bottle which takes you to their website...which asks you for your email to 'register' (for marketing)...BUT you can also click 'SKIP' just below the form 2. You then enter the batch number on the next page 3. Then you have to click on the result 4. Then you are shown a UMF certificate but if you are thinking 'hmm this is on your website' you can then scan the QR code seen in the image of the UMF certificate and from there... Voila, you can now see independently tested results at umf.org. with the verified details. Note: anyone who has purchased the product and is looking for the certificate, their priority is the authentication so it would be better to leave the marketing sign up on other pages (such as purchase confirmation)--to remove hurdle to the information sought. Email signup is can be a bit of a turn off or confusing here. Just some feedback for marketing department, otherwise kudos for providing the transparency for peace of mind on the high quality of your product.
