THE LOOMIA Turkish Beach Towel - Sia Series (100% Cotton, Size Extra Large, Grey)

Overall quality is great, which I think is the most important thing. I won't downgrade the rating just because this towel wasn't for me. The towel is large, it does shrink when you wash it and put it in the dryer, but it is still a very generous size even after that I think most people would still be happy with. The color is great. I have washed it a few times and it has held up well. Like others have mentioned the pattern is only on one side. The biggest downside to me is that it feels like you are trying to dry off with a cotton t-shirt. Once you use a section of the towel it is saturated and no longer usable. This means you end up using every inch of the oversized towel to get dry. It does take more time than a traditional towel. It is lightweight and sort of sticks to you when you dry, similar to trying to dry off with a cotton shirt. It does dry very quickly in humid air as stated, which is nice. Overall, constructed well, looks good and does function well, but just not the right towel for me. It may be the right towel for you though, and I do think would work really well for traveling, by the pool and at the beach.

On October 29, 2018, I purchased 3 Sia Turkish towels, one each in blue, pink & grey to be gifts for family traveling overseas. I chose to have them delivered to my home first so I could wash them several times so they would be very soft & ready to use for their plane trip. I did not inspect these towels prior to washing. Unfortunately, after washing & while hanging out to dry, I noticed the backside of the pink towel had an area of about 1/4" that was the color of rust & showed up quite noticeably against the pink background. Then, on the backside of the grey towel there was a thick thread more than 1" long that I would be afraid to trim for fear that area of the material would then run. These are beautiful towels with accurate colors, but I believe the company most definitely has a quality control problem. Because 2 out of the 3 towels I planned to give as gifts had noticeable flaws, I definitely don't want to give them as gifts now because they would appear to be "seconds." If this company will not replace the pink & grey towels because of their flaws, I will be very disappointed with their customer service & I will resign myself to keeping the flawed towels for myself. But, in the future, I will definitely chose instead to purchase my Turkish towel gifts (as well as any future towels for me) from a different company that has better quality control & customer service. I guess I will just await their response & decision.

I like the size of the towel. I have used it once so far. the directions say its recommended to wash in cold water and dry naturally while using a natural detergent as well. I haven't washed or dried it yet, because of the instructions. I most likely will not use a separate laundry detergent for the towel because I don't currently use a natural detergent, and I live in Florida where it rains a lot and is very humid, line drying items for me is almost impossible with showers almost every afternoon. I will try the lowest tumble dry setting on my dryer and see how that works. its a very nice towel so I hope this doesn't ruin it. I really like that they are different and Thin. it adds a lot of character to my bathroom.

Soft and getting softer. Never had a Turkish towel before but decided to dive in with these beautiful towels. I got the blue and red both and have been very pleased with them. There was a small issue with the red one with the tassels being uneven but I contacted the sellers and they were wonderful!The towel itself has a nice tight weave that isn't stiff, it is light but not paper thin, it's a neat balance of factors that make it really a joy to use. Not to mention beautiful. I think I am sold on these from now on. Haven't had a single issue with washing them in the washmachine and just hang drying them.

I folded over the top of the curtain so the contrasting color on the other side makes a sort of valance. They work as towels too for a coordinated look. I've washed them and they still look fresh after almost four years!Thank you for a quality product!

I am so grateful I purchased this lovely towel. Initially, I just purchased it for our holiday in Greece. When my father fell ill, I used this towel as comfort in the hospital. He is better now and my cousin even tried stealing it before I returned home! I've since used it as a blanket for the airplane, for the symphony in the park, and as a scarf. Supporting a family business is important to me and I appreciate the quality. The weight is so versatile and I will order more for our next holday...such a better/lighter choice than a traditional clunky towel.

Just received this today, and it's the first Peshtemal bath/beach sized towel I've purchased. I love the packaging - the reusable storage bag with the evil eye pin is a very nice touch. The towel is very soft and perfectly light weight - exactly what I was looking for. The one thing I was suprised about (but okay with) is that the print is one-sided. For my purposes, that is just fine. But it's not typical of the smaller Pestemal towels I've bought, so I was a little surprised. Still, great towel and I will be buying more in other colors.

Bought these for the beach - haven’t been able to use them there yet - but I plan on using them for many other purposes. Great price for such quality and I really like the style of these - simple, classy and cool. They feel light but sturdy - also, love buying from family run businesses and this one is stellar.
