Nice engine but needs more than 18 inch curve
Very nice locomotive but will not fit on 18 inch curve track.

Derailment
I bought three of these engines: #1-the wheels on the back of the tender fell off and the wires to the engine were not connected to the plug. Paid Bachmann to repair. The front truck would derail the engine. I removed it. Number 2 and 3 had the same problem with the front truck I also removed them. One and two where purchased from Amazon and three was purchased from Buchmann. Montie

My package was previously opened and the front wheels are broken. Very difficult to get it properly on the track.

not worth it.
After a few months. The wires from the tender and locomotive came off clip. Amazon help was no help. When contacted Bachman I could not get past the menus for help. maybe take to a jewelry store to have two wires soldered back to clip. Amazon and Bachman were awful help.

Train is not in working order
Train does not work and was sent poorly packaged. Seller did not describe product accurately, if it is DCC as described it is not working. Very bummed as my 12 year old son saved up all of birthday money to purchase this train.

Loving this loco and having it run is always a treat. Jusy a little figgity to get on the tracks but I've figured out a little trick. Get the first set of wheels on first then the main drive wheels and then the back wheels can be lifted up onto the track. The tender isn't hard to get on the track but only problem is the wires from the tender. The wires can be difficult to position but I've found that 3 wires on one side and 3 on the other side of the coupling works perfect otherwise on curves it can derail. Overall, I am loving this loco and do plan to get the coaches for it soon.
