Love these
My kids need disposable spoons for school lunches but I hate single use plastic. So happy to find these. They are sturdy and well-proportioned. In fact, on the occasions they make them home from school, they hold up to washing and re-use.

I love these spoons!
The sturdiness, shape, and smoothness are really fantastic! I prefer these over all others.

Perfect in shape and function.
I probably will sound a bit strange, but I really love these disposable utensils. So much so, that I reuse them over and over and have also purchased several sets. These are great because:- The spoons scoop up just the perfect amount of food for toddler and adult alike. I dislike most toddler utensils because the spoons barely hold anything to constitute as 'food'. I love these because they are the perfect size for tasting spoons for when I cook. This leaves my real silverware for setting the table.- The forks are great because (again) it actually holds food onto it without the ends being super sharp, which is super important for me as a parent. Again, I dislike most toddler forks because they often barely hold any food or don't have enough depth to pierce the food. These forks minimize the mess on the floor at mealtimes.- The knives (even) are great. They have a great strength without it being long / thick. And most grocery stores carry uber-expensive (e.g., diamond weight) disposable utensils or super cheap utensils that are just as useless as toddler silverware. These utensils by World Centric are so great - PLUS, they are environmentally friendly. I use these till they drop (er, break - as a few of my spoons have snapped), but I love them so much that I use them for my instant coffee, sugar, etc.I know, I sound weird for gushing about disposable 'ware, but try these and you will not go back!

We reuse disposable utensils we get from restaurant orders, and these have been the best
We found these when ordering from Firebird, and it was nice not having forks that maintained shape and retained all the tines when eating hot food and after several dishwasher cycles (top _and_ bottom rack). Spoons haven't deformed in hot hot soup, and knives can cut a medium well ribeye. Handles are comfortable too. Wish they had a 100pack size of each instead of 24 and a bazillion.

We hosted a BBQ and these were great for serving food and we felt great about not having any treated paper or single use plastic. Very high quality! This brand is now our go-to for party supplies!

Better than plastic, but...
To begin, these are certainly a better alternative to full on plastic. I was looking to use these for a large picnic and needed a couple of boxes. I used them along with their compostable plates, and thought I was on the right track. What went wrong was when they arrived. First, they are made in China. I guess I had hoped that for the cost (about $7 for 24 spoons) that I would at least get made in the USA. But no. Then the more difficult issue - the "compostable" part is only if used in a commerical grade compost center. So do I have this in my backyard? No! I have a little home composter that would never allow this to break down. AND the package says it will take 6 months in that condition! So I am hugely disappointed, and will not buy again. What I really need to do is go to a garage sale and get some real spoons and just save them until my picnic next year.As a side note? I thought I could only buy these here on Amazon. Not at all true - I ended up needing more and found them at Whole Foods....at half the price too!
