SUBURBAN LTZ
My video started to become intermittent and I thought the screen was going out. At one point the screen would only work when it was unstowed about 1 inch, then it would go completely blank. I replaced the factory screen cable with this one and everything worked perfectly. I would recommend this 100% Thanks for saving me tons of cash!! The install was extremely easy following youtube videos. The only issue I had was seperating the plastic bezel around the screen. I was careful but still broke a few plastic clips. Probably takes about 30 minutes to replace if your taking your time.

This worked and saved us so much money!
With some disassembly, my husband installed this replacement ribbon on our 2015 Tahoe and it worked! He did lots of research to see why the screens go out in them and came across numerous threads explaining it’s usually the ribbon not the entire screen! Which is , from the the dealership, over $400 new! So at about $20 this is a steal! It takes about 20 small screws and maybe an extra set of hands to hold the screen in place. It took him maybe 30 minutes in all to replace. Very simple and there’s instructions online to show how to do it all. Try this before buying a new screen or having the dealership replace!

2016 Chevy Suburban TV Fixed
We had a 2016 Chevy Suburban 3rd row TV go bad, didn't know why the screen stopped working, I did a little research and some said this cable goes bad. I thought for under $20 it was worth trying. Better than the $850 the dealership wanted to put in a new one. Also better than $280 to buy used on off the internet. The shipping was fast. The box was undamaged, the part looked perfect, It was easy to replace. And it fixed the issue! I would assume this will go bad again over time, I think it’s overall a bad design of the TV, not a bad part. I will keep an extra on hand just incase!

Great Fix for a Good Price.
My 2016 Yukon Denali DVD middle screen only showed lines when partially folded down, then nothing. Replaced the ribbon cable with this one and BINGO, back working like new! There quite a bit of disassembly of the unit required after you remove it from the roof. Just need a Phillips screwdriver and some patients to pry open the fold down screen. I didn’t look, but theres probably a YouTube video on how to do it. 30-45 min job that can be done at the kitchen table once the 4 attaching bolts are removed. Very happy with the purchase.

Before you go to the dealership
2017 Yukon Rear tv started to short out. The screen would only come on when the tv was folded half way, then eventually it would not come on at all. The Dealership wanted $800 to replace the entire unit. I bought this part on Amazon and found an excellent YouTube video on how to disassemble and install the ribbon. It took less than 25 min and I saved $780!

Good value for the money
Cord was thinner than the original factory cord bit that being said, works great and was perfectly compatible to fix the middle movie player on my 2016 Chevy Suburban. Great alternative to replacing the entire unit that would have cost hundreds of dollars!!!

Perfect fit and saves a ton of money
Many repair shops suggest to replace the entire roof mounted screen - this took me less than 30 min and everything fit perfectly. I'll have another on hand for when the other screen has an issue.
