Bought for a trailer renovation
Good quality and makes a great waterproof seal. Follow the instructions and the installation is easy

PUT IT IN THE FREEZER
Stuff works great. Almost too good.... Stuff is super sticky and hard to work with if it's hot out. Seriously, I would not use this stuff outside if it's above 75 degrees. Put the tape roll in the freezer just prior to use for better handling. Once it's on, it's not coming off, so work in small sections and double check what you're doing.

Dicor tape.
This product came in a timely manner. It worked great on sealing the camper’s seams.

Corner sealing- well done.
Took quite a while to peel clear film from adhesive at the beginning of the roll, then it would stick again in another few inches. That part Sucked. As for its intended use it was just Great. Used on Jack corner of my Lance camper.

Only one side is sticky!
For anyone who doesn't know, only one side is sticky. The other side is a soft white fabric. So if you're planning on using this for a non-RV project, be aware of this fact. Other than that, it's a nice quality and easy to use butyl tape.

Great permanent adhesive quality
Great tape, got the job done WELL! But, you really have to be patient and work slowly, because it is very easy to mess up the tape and have to start a strip over again. Great tape, just work diligently and patiently.

Sticky
This seal tape is very sticky once you get the film off the sticky side. Whatever you do make sure you are placing the tape where you want it the first time as it is nearly impossible to lift it for relocating. The fabric side is nice that it allows you to easily push and slide your finger as you go over uneven surfaces. As we replace the exterior corner molding on our 5-wheel trailer this is being used to span the two sides at the corner. The new corner pieces / molding (self modified 1.5 x 1.5 x 1/8 aluminum angle) have caulking and screws that hold the new molding tight and we have not had any water intrusion on replaced sections.

Has great potential if it was thicker...
I found the product to be ok in terms of concept and installation however I find it falls short in terms of the end result due to some short comings. First, the install went great with proper preparation as per instructions... take your time and keep product in fridge up until ready to be applied. Where things start to go south is when it comes time to reinstall corner trim. Instructions indicate to put down a bead of Dicor cap sealant on trim and reinstall bring careful to not over tighten so that not too much sealant oozes out. Well... the problem is that the tite seal is too thin that you need lots of cap sealant to make up the thickness of the previous buytle tape to get a seal and not all your previous screw holes will line up because if this. I applied 3 thick beads and still did not have much ooze out and I have filon wall cladding (non corrugated). If the product was a similar thickness to that of buytle tape I think it would work very well. Others have indicated that they used new buytle tape instead of the cap sealant but I have reservations if this is ideal as I'm not confident it will adhere well to the polyester backing. Ended up using 3 tubes of cap sealant when all said and done and that stuff is not cheap... there are better and less expensive products on the market imo.

Backing flimsy made sticky mess
Its very sticky and looks like it will do the job...however, it was terrible to work with because the plastic protective wrap covering the sticky side kept tearing no matter how carefully I tried removing it. I had to repeatedly try to pick off the strips which was tedious, time consuming and sometimes a sticky mess. They need to consider using a different plastic backing.
