I bought this out of my love for K Beauty products. The reviews for this were amazing and had to try it out for myself. Wore it on my lips as is with no lipstick as base. After a few hours my lips felt really dry and chapped.

I just bought this product and really like it so far! It's more moisturizing than I expected and has a very light pleasant scent (fruity-floral). It's not sticky which is great. I used a very light swipe in the second picture (black shirt), it moisturized and lightly tinted, so light that I wasn't sure it left any colour at all until I washed my face at night and realized my make-up remover was taking off pink from my lips! Day two, I put it on much heavier and it's very obviously brighter but still in the realm of natural lip shade, just heightened. With a thicker application, the scent is stronger and feels weightier on the lips (but still not sticky!!). I also tested a swatch on the back of hand to see the shade and how long it would take to lose the gloss and become more of a lip stain. It absorbs slowly over a few hours, leaving the colour and a very light gloss but with a minor sheen, more like cherry Chapstick, and still feeling very moisturized. With all the test applications, the shade took a few minutes to really activate (perhaps body temperature or pH plays a role?) so I'd suggest starting with an almost dry applicator and layering so you can find the shade and amount of product that works for you. I would reapply after eating but I haven't worn for a full 8-12 hours yet. I recommend this product if you're looking for something moisturizing, low maintenance, variable transparency options, stain-like look after a few hours. Not a good match for a long-lasting high shine, super bright shade, or totally transparent. It also swatched brighter on my hand vs my lips on day one, so definitely do a test drive and play with the amount of product on your lips before committing to it as part of your look! Best surprise: very moisturizing, even with very dry chapped lips Worst surprise: different shades, a bit unpredictable (I actually like this and find it fun, and I don't mind a super bright shade if it goes that way but I think most people would be put off by that)

honestly didn’t expect to love this as much as I do — but wow. This lip oil goes on completely clear, feels incredible (not sticky or heavy), and then gradually shifts to the prettiest natural pink. It looks like your lips but better. The texture is what really sold me. It’s smooth, cushiony, and actually moisturizing — not that slippery oil that disappears in 10 minutes. My lips feel soft and hydrated long after applying, and it gives a subtle plump without any burning or irritation. I got the Applefig shade and the color payoff is perfect for everyday wear. It adjusts beautifully and doesn’t peel, dry out, or get weird over time. I’ve been reaching for this constantly and will absolutely repurchase. If you like effortless, glossy, healthy-looking lips without the fuss, this one’s a winner. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Such a beautiful lip tint. Very nourishing. Apply, wait a few minutes then dab dry with a tissue. That's it. No peeling the residue. Just pat dry and go. A gorgeous, soft pink colour

UPDATE to colour payoff: wow, this actually leaves more colour on the lips than the hand. Looks twice as noticeable in person as the photo here. The packaging is nice: esthetically simple in appearance and compact in size, about the length of a credit card. The screw-on top feels secure and closes tight. (I love this, because I am always looking for a good lip product that is small enough to fit well in my purse or even wallet if need be, and is unlikely to leak). The doefoot applicator is a nice medium size and applies the oil evenly and easily. It doesn't pick up too much product which some doefoots do. The colour I purchased is the Applepeony, and the colour is a medium-light pink, but a bit more coral pink in person than a true baby pink like in the amazon photos. Although it does deposit a bit of colour, it is very slight (see if you can find it on the picture of the back of my hand). I let it sit on my hand for at least 10 mins to give the colour time to develop and deposit, and I am light skinned, for reference. The oil itself is really smooth with a medium viscosity that isn't too thick and gloppy nor too thin and watery. It glides on and isn't sticky at all. It is scented, and smells like a peony flower. Although I don't like floral smells, this was stated clearly in the photos and description so I can't assign fault for the scent. I chose the colour I preferred over the scent I preferred in this case. The oil doesn't really have a taste or flavour. I have only just received it and applied it to my lips now, so I can't speak to its moisturizing or enhancing claims, but I'll update this review if I find it to be less than or different than it claims. First impression: I do wish it was the true baby pink shown in the photos. Overall though, I like most things about it and would repurchase.
