Exactly what I wanted! Works well, looks great
I wanted a reminder to get up from my workdesk and move around that wouldn't be audible in case I was on a call. An hourglass seemed perfect, I could just glance over at it once in a while and it would serve as a reminder. I bought this with the white sand and it looks really good on my bookcase, it's got a nice classic look to it, it's well-made, and it indeed does measure just about exactly an hour.

Nice look with pop of color and accurate enough
I used a digital timer and clocked the hour glass at 1:00:27 which is just 27s over an hour which is great for why I got it. I was recovering from COVID with pneumonia and sepsis, and I was in the hospital for a week in early 2021. I needed to stay hydrated but at home I did not have nurses reminding me to drink water, so I got this hour glass and drank 6 to 8 ounces of water when the sand stopped flowing. This was a perfect solution. No alarms to wake me up if I was asleep. An ample flow of water that wasn't too much to make me nauseas those first two weeks at home. I kept my drinking cup on top of hour glass on my night stand. And I still use it today with work at home to make sure I don't sit too long by getting up to drink some water. I need more water intake in a day than 8oz every hour, but the main point is that I have healthier habits now than before I bought the sand timer.

Nice for decor, timing not accurate
It takes well over an hour for the glass to empty so the timing is not accurate but it is cute and words for the decor item as needed.

Exactly 1 hour!
Wasn't sure what to expect but this is a beautiful hour glass. I timed it and it really was exactly one hour! Gave as a gift and she LOVED it!

Very nice product.
The pink sand looks so nice against the black wood. I thought the hour glass itself was 8", it measures 8" from top to bottom of the wood. The glass itself is approximately 7 3/4". Bought for my granddaughter for Christmas. She loves mine (that have no wooden casings) so she'll love this one. Timing is precise. I will buy more for those who have everything. Thanks TEMU!
