It arrived much sooner than the projected date. The quality of the chenille fabric exceeded my expectations, and the color is a very rich brown. It is firm to sit on which helps in getting up. It is in a room where its primary purpose is to sit on while watching tv, and only occasionally used as a bed for a grandchild. The storage compartment is very nice with a smooth plastic lining and not pressed wood or cardboard. However, it took two of us to assemble it, and there were no directions. It took a bit of thought before we could get the arms attached. I couldn't give it 5 stars because of that. Other than that, all parts fit well, and it looks well made.

There is not any insruction provided, so it is not obvious that you have to move seat in some middle position to be able to pull out armrests from the storage boxes under the seat. Also the holes in the armrests and the main part of the sofa are not corresponded. For one of the armrest we had to drill another hole in the bottom of the sofa to assemle it, because the original hole was about a half of inch missplaced.

2 of the feet bent over when I slid the sofa along the carpet into place.The plastic parts that hold the nuts for the feet bolts broke on one,and the nut and bolt popped out of the other.The sofa is comfortable and looks good,but if you get one put the feet on last,when you have the sofa where it will set.I would have sent it back,but it would be way too much to mess with,it was for my sister`s apt. and she likes it.As far as folding the sofa up and down sometimes I had too try a few times to get it to work,it`s easy to do though.

This sofa is nice and comfortable for sitting. However, it is very firm and is not comfortable for sleeping unless one likes a firm mattress for sleeping. I prefer something softer for sleeping, but this sofa is great for sitting.

Not to easy

Really good looking futon/couch. Priced great. Had to attach arms, but was easy. Arrived with some damage that I didn't see till I took off all packaging.

Il looks good in my room. Comfortable enough to sleep on. Could be just a little wider and the arm rests could be a little higher for more comfortable sitting.

This sofa is good. Just legs are pretty tight to carpet floor, so it not easy to move sofa close to wall.
