It also rotates left to right without having to move the entire base and even I can do it myself by pressing down on the foot pedal. Great umbrella, and definitely recommend it for any backyard.

9x10 huge umbrella we anchored into concrete. It’s pretty heavy duty but just sick of messing with weights. Super functional 360 deg turn means the bbq bar, spa or loungers can all use it. The navy color is beautiful, blocks a lot of light but we will see how it holds up long run. Set up was super easy. We’ve had several days of 20 mph wind gusts and its wind resistance has held up well! Wish it came with a cover as it’s obviously needed but I bought a generic one. We have only had up for less than a month and have already had so many compliments. Bought it on Prime Day for great price compared to many found on Amazon and Wayfair.

Very happy with the purchase. We got this set up just in time for the 4th of July weekend! This is a huge umbrella 10' x 13', providing a lot of shade needed, yet it is super easy to operate. I am a petite woman, even I can raise and lower the umbrella easily (the tilt angle changes with the lock in height). Because of its size, I strongly recommend to get the base as well. Installation will take 2 people since it's heavy. But the instruction video on Amazon is super helpful and super easy to follow. It is very sturdy and matches the product images and descriptions well. I picked the beige color because it is pretty and it weathers better generally. Now I need to get some lounge chairs so I can lie down and read books outside under the nice shade, or even on a rainy day too. Loving it.

Really nice umbrella , pretty quick to assemble. Looks nice , quality is solid. My only regret is that I didn’t realize my base from my old umbrella won’t fit this one and now I have to buy another base so I’ll spend more instead of buying them together upfront.

This is a BIG parasol. The metal structure is high quality. The fabric is ok. It does not feel like a marine cloth, so we will have to see how colorfast it is in practice. It was delivered quickly, and was very easy to assemble. It comes with a protective sheath. That said, you will need a heavy base. This is a very large parasol that catches all but the gentlest of breezes. They recommend a minimum of 220lbs or a fixed base. This seems right to me. These bases are not cheap, so factor that into your total spend. Choose your base with care. The pedal for allowing rotation is low, and most bases will interfere with its use. We chose a ‘fill with sand and water’ base that has a cutout for pedals, but it still does not allow enough clearance, so we have to pull the base plates out a bit, turn the canopy, then push the plates back in. It’s a small matter, but we have had other similar canopy with better pedal / base clearance. In our experience the parasol has two useable positions: parallel to the ground, and first click which is about 20 degrees to the ground. After that, the size of the canopy and the fact that it hangs so it can move, makes it a bit too unwieldy. We needed a parasol quickly. This met that need and the quality is good. Had we had more time, I suspect we could have found still higher quality for the price.

Wow! How can such a durable and functional cantilever umbrella be sold at such a fair and reasonable price? I searched the market for this product. I was hesitant because of the price based on others I have seen. But the reviews were good. It was a little difficult to assemble, but you can figure it out if you take your time. Overall, the umbrella is very stable and easy to open and close. There are several different levels and settings and angles to provide relief from the sun at all times of day. Incredibly functional! The material appears very durable. You need a good strong base to hold it in place, it would not be stable without that, but with the base it is very stable. And with so many colors to choose from it’s definitely a great purchase!

I like it very much. The only thing I don't like is the crank for the umbrella does not stay in place. Not normally a big deal except I put it on my dock. I know one day it will end up in the water. I take it out and up to the house but I allways forget to grab it when I go down to the water. I probably will end up silicone Ing it so it won't fall out
