Higgins Sunburst Fruits & Veggies Gourmet Treats for Small Birds (2 Pack)

This was purchased for a friend of mine who has a canary and she says that he loves it, so that's all I can tell you.

My parakeets love this more than any other kind or brand. Smells fresh too. Will always keep this on hand for my birds.

I recommend the Higgins sunburst fruits and veggies for your bird, I mistakenly got the smaller size I have a very small parrot a Senegal but I think we could have gone larger it was my error but I mixed it in with her food and I can see that she is enjoying it and I'm sure that your bird will too. I found this mix to be very fresh and fragrant, as opposed to not a great smell from something that was aging out but not so with this product this is the second Higgins product that I've tried for my parrot having just noticed them and giving them a run and so far I'm very pleased I would recommend this if you have a smaller bird I believe that this is for parakeets but I cannot find fault with it and I can see that the bird does enjoy it and when I mix it in with her other dry food it's more enriching and more variety and keeps the bird entertained in the food sense. I am most definitely going to look up more products from Higgins that would be size appropriate for my Senegal parrot but without hesitation I can recommend this feed, give it a go your bird will let you know LOL!

The seeds seem stale. My canary didn't care for them.

I sprinkle a little of this on their food, just to give them a little treat and variety.My parakeets aren’t fond of humans- they’ve bonded together and have their little ‘flock’ that I am not allowed to join. I’m just their servant. Since sprinkling this on their food, they’ve haven’t been as disgusted with me which I take as a good sign, haha. I think they like this little treat. Again; i sprinkle just a small amount on their daily food. They’ve been pretty picky about other foods and treats in the past so that they are still eating their normal meal, this little mix must not be that bad. I’ve ordered twice now. My birdos are still going strong.

Can’t use a lot in their feed but for a treat my finches love it.
