Impressive sound, fantastic value, highly recommended
I initially bought the smaller T5V model but returned them for the T7V (this model). The Adam Audio sound takes some mental adjustment. The speakers sound bigger and closer than they are. I’m now a fan. After two days I had fallen in love with the T5V tweeter but wasn't crazy about the woofer, so I rearranged my desk to make more space and ordered the T7V instead. Both the T5V and T7V are impressive and sound much better than they cost. Both are highly recommended. This review is largely pasted from my review of the T5V model because they are essentially the same, except for the way they handle low frequencies. T7V REVIEW: Adam Audio speakers are usually very expensive and used in professional studios. The T Series is a new budget line that brings their amazing tweeter technology to the masses. Right now, there are multiple brands of similar-sized monitors at similar or lower prices. You can spend less, but these really are on a different level in terms of hearing a mix in its full dimension. With the T7V, expect to hear detail in the highs you won’t find elsewhere. I previously used Event Electronics ALP5 monitors and they have clear, sweet mids but nowhere near as much extension into the highs as these speakers do. Adam Audio has done an amazing job giving you a wide-open sonic window at such a low price-point. Playing through my music collection of classic and recent songs of various genres, I can hear subtle details I didn't notice before, especially in the vocals, acoustic instruments, and stereo imaging. I’m not used to hearing this far up into the upper highs even though I have in-ear monitors and headphones that cost as much as these speakers. Well-mixed music comes alive and spreads out into a well-imaged, wide space with mono sounds appearing to be in the center. You almost lose the fact you’re listening to speakers sometimes. You can really hear the magic of great mixes from the analog era as well as today’s digital world. There is a downside though. Not-so-well mixed music will draw your attention to its flaws and weaknesses. I cross-checked this with Sennheiser headphones and yep, it’s the mix, not the speakers. For people who use digital instruments, you will LOVE these speakers and how forward the whole frequency range is (not just the mids). Also, these handle bass well and dance music sounds great. For people who mic, eq and mix acoustic instruments and vocals, the big window of truth the tweeters provide will help you get things right the first time. They give you a lot of useful frequency information above the midrange, especially on vocals and acoustic guitars. If you record live drums, get these over the smaller T5V. I have an M-Audio sub-woofer and it really helped out with my previous monitors which were only 5”. With these T7V (7” woofer) you won’t need a sub-woofer for most applications. The bass is impressive. Once you get used to ribbon tweeters, you won't want to go back. It took me about two days to get used to the extra high frequency content, so be patient. When I first started listening, I thought they would be fatiguing (one of Adam Audio’s selling points is that they are not fatiguing), but that was just a mental adjustment I had to make, and now I can listen to them for extended periods just fine. If the price is a bit high for you, check out the Adam Audio T5V, which save $100 per pair. I had them for a week and was impressed. If you can afford these (and can fit them on your desk) get these T7V instead (deeper, punchier bass). If you currently have 5” speakers with dome tweeters, and if these larger speakers can fit on your desk, the T7V will be a significant upgrade and will sound bigger, richer, clearer and more forward than what you’re used to. I don’t think you'll find a better truth-teller for mixing at this price. The T7V are great for audio recording and mixing in a small studio or a medium-sized video post suite. Once you hear the difference the tweeters make, you'll be surprised at what you've been missing.

Best speakers I've had and still in a good price range
I've had my T8Vs for just over 10 months now. I love them. I'm only a bedroom producer every now and then, so when I got new monitors, I wanted to use them as my listening speakers as well. The low-end on these allow just that (I listen to mostly electronic dance/ambient). If I put music on as I go to sleep, the bass feels full and balanced with the mids and highs even at low volumes. The highs are well known on Adam Audio speakers, but with these larger speakers, the lows are quite good too. I think I got great value in this price range. Makes me want to get even better Adam speakers in the future if I can afford to make the jump some day!

Details come to life!
These sound great even after two years of use! For me the High and Low shelf EQ is very helpful in taming over bearing frequencies. My T7V's were a big upgrade from my previous studio monitors, these have awesome separation, dynamics and detail. A great entry-mid level monitor!

I like my speakers
Loud enough for desktop listening, good soundstage stage, bass and instrument separation.

A successful combination of T5V and T10S
In a 65m² space, I used only the T5V speakers to listen to music, play guitar, and sing, but the volume and bass were lacking. After purchasing the T10S and upgrading them, the resolution and volume improved, making listening, playing, and singing much more enjoyable. I'm extremely satisfied with the results of the T5V and T10S combination. If you own T5V or T7V speakers, I highly recommend the T10S.

Quality control
Good quality packaging, ordered two but one of them would not work until I opened it up and noticed plug inside was not connected. Unexpected for a new product but still satisfied with the quality of sound.

A Solid and Spacious Sound
ADAM Audio has been a reputable name in the realm of studio monitor speakers, and the T5V stands as a testament to that. Size and Build: Right off the bat, one notices their size. They're bigger than you'd expect, so if you're tight on desktop space like I am, you might have to play a game of musical chairs with your gear. The build quality is robust, with a design that commands presence. Sound Quality: One of the highlights of the T5V is its flat frequency response, a trait coveted by audiophiles and studio professionals. But ADAM Audio offers a cherry on top, with a tweakable frequency response curve that can be adjusted 2dbi up or down for high and low frequencies. This grants the listener the power to tailor the sound to their specific tastes or room acoustics. The sound emanating from the T5Vs is full-bodied, with a bass that makes its presence known without overwhelming. If you're seeking room-shaking bass, this might not be the pick for you, but if clarity and balance are what you're after, the T5Vs do the job impressively. Comparison to Emotiva Airmotiv 4: Having previously owned the Emotiva Airmotiv 4, I couldn't help but draw comparisons. The T5Vs certainly have a more wholesome sound, but they lose a touch of the 'sparkle' that made the Emotiva's stand out. It's akin to having a hearty meal but missing that sprinkle of seasoning that adds an extra zing. Conclusion: In the world of studio monitors, the ADAM Audio T5V is undoubtedly a worthy contender. Its adjustable frequency response is a pleasant addition, and while it might not appeal to those seeking a more compact size or a scintillating high-end sparkle, it shines in delivering a reliable, well-rounded sound experience.

Monsters in a living room & on a desk! Aesthetics These look incredible for the price. The tweeter adds contrast to the overall look, there are no visible screws in the front, the angled edges add curves to the design, without which this would have looked like a plain old boxy speaker. Build Quality Simply solid. You tap on it anywhere once and you know Adam was serious about this, as they always are. Sound The tweeters are insane. There's tons of detail, the soundstage is easy to grasp, vocals are absolutely impeccable and the bass is great. The low and high end is incredible but these absolutely nail the mid range. String instruments sound so good, it's hard to put in words. These make me want to just sit all day and listen to them, like leave everything else and just keep listening to them. Although, to enjoy the detail and depth of the sound, you have to crank up the volume a little bit, not a whole lot, just to normal listening levels. At incredibly low volumes where you can listen to someone whisper clearly, they sound pretty average. Turn up the volume a little bit and you'll be surprised at what they can do. Controls These have a dedicated level knob for low and high frequency. You get -2, 0 & +2 for low and high frequency. I've currently set HF to 0 and LF to +2 since I listen to them in a large room and I can really feel the bass anywhere in the room. Apart from that, you get a volume level knob for each speaker, you ideally should match them on both speakers and control the volume elsewhere. Others They don't support any digital or wireless inputs, just the traditional RCA and XLR. If you register these on their website, you'll get a warranty of 5 years! That shows that they're very confident about the product they've built. Verdict The JBL 305P Mark 2 used to be the go to affordable powered monitor but not anymore. These set a new benchmark, one that'll be very hard to get l beat. These perform better than those and look much much better. Admittedly, those are much cheaper. If you have around 30k on a pair, get the JBLs. If you can add 10k more, get these, they'll blow you away, change the very definition of great music.

I purchased two of Adam’s T5V’s a couple of mounts ago and I’m impressed about the soundstage, bass response and clarity of highs! Usually I listen to loudspeakers first before I buy them but in this case is was convinced with YouTube reviews and the killer price to order and I wasn’t disappointed! Important to know is that you have to place them very well in your room and sit in the right position to get the best results out of this loudspeaker. My room is 3,3 meter wide by 4,3 meter long and they produce enough bass without subwoofer.( enough body shake) Some Youtube reviews tell you that they have a wide sweet spot but that is not the case here. Precise position is the key here. I’m running them in my music room (acoustically treated) just for listening music, no mixing, no recording. Anybody that will purchase these loudspeakers won’t be disappointed from the start. If you are a Pro with higher standards you might choose the higher model of Adam’s but I’m sure for starters it is the best choice. Enjoy these Adam’s T5V
