Gemma is a 45lb boxer-Shar-Pei mix and I bought her the size 7. It fits perfectly. She only needs 1 boot because she drags one back leg due to hip dysplasia. The boot totally protects her foot. Gemma is my 12th dog, so I had already narrowed down my search for boots based on some that had failed in the past for other dogs. These are perfect. Gemma even runs in them. One happy customer!

i bought this for my dog and even though i measured his paws, they did not fit correctly. they keep falling off his paws after just a few mins of walking in them. also they are not aerated / have holes in the shoe so ur dogs paws will be super hot.

I wasn't sure how my aging Golden Retriever would like the boots, but she barks at me to put them on for her. She can't stand very well on our hardwood floors. When she wants to get up, she tells me. When I put the boots on, she can walk on the floors and she can manage the stairs. I like that the straps are attached and that they fasten snuggly. Overall, a very helpful product for our family.

I ordered with correct length than width as my dog width was narrow but she had length for her paws. It fits very nice. Only put front two paws for now to get her used to them in the house. Matter of 30mins she was walking comfortably. Tonight went for a long walk and run in the snow, wet roads. There was no problems. Didn’t come off, she looked very comfortable as if she’s not wearing shoes. Tomorrow we will try all four paws. (Update) Used for month, very good product, I will definitely buy again. My dog loves it too. She knows with boots she can walk long without getting cold on her paws.

We recently got a new young dog companion, Sophie, for our senior border collie mix, Elmo. Elmo was already having trouble walking on our hardwood floors because of neuropathy and weakness in his hind legs. Because Sophie is young and playful, Elmo was frequently falling trying his best to keep up with his new friend. We were concerned that he would injure himself so I searched for something to improve his traction on our hard floors. These Qumy shoes seemed to be a solution. Based on the given instructions for sizing and because of reviewer complaints, I ordered 3 sizes hoping one size would fit correctly. I had to go with the smaller size. And of course, Amazon has free returns. Elmo resisted the first time I put them on but he immediately started to walk normally without slipping even while rough housing with Sophie. In the beginning, we only left them on Elmos feet for 2 hours , then two hours off slowly increasing the duration. I did notice some sore spots were developing on his feet so I let his feet recover for a week. After resuming, the sore spots have not reoccurred. He is now wearing his shoes all day but not at night. I also discovered that he only needs shoes on his hind legs to avoid slipping. The only time Elmo takes off his shoes (without my help) is when something gets in his shoe like a small pebble. It is important that the Velcro straps are put on snuggly otherwise the shoe will rotate. Because Elmo wears his shoes indoors and outdoors, his shoes last about 3-4 months. He has gone through three pairs with the Velcro straps tearing or otherwise getting damaged. Maybe wider straps would help. A minor problem with the Velcro straps is that Elmo's hair will clog the straps requiring cleaning with a stiff brush. These shoes do well even in snow because they are water resistant. Sometimes I do change them to a dry pair when he stays outdoors long enough for water to penetrate the fabric. We even go on 2 mile walks on a gravel road with no issues. Washing the shoes in a washing machine is doable if the Velcro straps are fastened and if the shoes are put in a pillow case so that the Velcro straps don't cling to other clothing in the washer. Drying in medium heat doesn't hurt them either. Elmo and I are very pleased with these shoes.
