Handy, effective and a good tool to have in your kit.
A mini plunge saw for smaller jobs. The saw is around the size of an average angle grinder, small enough to carry with you to jobs.It has a maximum cut plunge depth of 28.5mm when used at 90degrees, not the biggest admittedly, but this is a mini plunge saw for small jobs, the kind of handy tool that you carry with you to help you work quicker and smarter on small jobs.Build wise it is impressive, it is your usual Draper quality and i have, personally, never had a problem with this brand. There are lots of extras in the case, blades, a laser cutting guide ( that works even when it isnt plugged in) a dust extraction hose and a carry case to keep everything together and make it easy to transport. There are good safety controls on this, it is easy to set up and adjust and it just works as it should!

Good tool for your box
I have a couple of Draper tools and I have always been impressed by their quality and cost. They are very reasonably priced for the quality. This saw works well and is fine for occasional use - I am not sure it would be suitable for prolonged use.It comes in a good hard plastic case which contains all relevant information and instructions.

Capable, good value
As with most Draper tools this is decent value and a perfectly capable DIY tool, but perhaps not rugged enough for every day use. It arrives in a hard plastic case, which also contain a blade for other materials, guide fence and a pocket with the instructions. In use the (adjustable) 28mm depth should be enough for most tasks and the laser allows you to eye-ball it if you don't need to be completely accurate. For the money there's not much to complain about – I didn't particularly like the long trigger – but that's about it.

Well made, well balanced and precise in operation
This is a very useful plunge saw for smaller more intricate jobs.It has a decent plunge depth of 28.5mm which means it gets through inch thick boards. It comes with a handy carry case which is always a bonus, there is the blade, a laser guide which is very useful, and a dust extract hose.It does everything you could want and is the usual no nonsense, 'just works' Draper quality
