I got this sunglasses for my dad as a Father's Day gift. After reading all the reviews about this product made in China, I felt a bit skeptical on buying it, so I decided to do research. Starting just recently Luxottica has changed the white labels on the sides of Ray-Bans that are made in China to include: "Made in China by Luxottica Tristar..." This means they are still 100% authentic and made by Luxottica...that is the important part! As far as I can tell, quality is still outstanding since Luxottica oversees the manufacturing."There is this whole thing going around on the Internet that Raybans are only made in Italy, sorry to say, but their wrong, they don't know what they are talking about, but insist on telling people the wrong information, so today I would like to straighten out this Myth. Luxottica is the manufacturer for Rayban, they have factories both in Italy and China, as far as I know, all the sunglasses are made in Italy except models RB 3293 and RB 3211 which were made both in Italy and China for a few years, so if you happen to get one of these models and it's made in China, don't worry, it's real. But it seems that Luxottica stopped manufactoring the RB 3293 and RB 3211 in China since 2010, as I think they got too many complaints about it being made in China. Also the Rayban RX frames are all made in China, some of the metal frames are made in Italy, but majority of them are all made in Luxottica's facility in China. But yes, it could be a fake if it's made in China, there are lot's of replica fakes out there and people claiming it to be authentic, the only best way to insure you have a authentic Rayban is to go to a Rayban retailer and compare the one you have to the one in the Store, as I haven't seen any fakes that are any good, so you'll be able to tell them apart clearly. Keep in mind that some of these styles may only have a couple colors that are made in China, but I am still including them since I don't want anyone to be fooled when they see that one color is made in Italy and a different color is made in China. I read in the product pictures "Made in Italy" then they send me a "Made In China" product, they claimed that some models are now made in China, and still original... I don't know about that, but if they put a picture where you can clearly read "Made in Italy" that's all what you expect to receive. Also y read in the description a "...Durable but lightweight metal frame in shiny gunmetal..." There's no metal anywhere, at least not in the frame, just painted "Acetate" or Chinese plastic as i rather call it... Amazon make me a $40 refund because i really struggled it on, they told me they are allowed to make me just a 20% refund, but i insisted because i can't make a return, since im outside de US and will have to pay extra shipping and taxes... This are nice glasses, and fits nicely, but it's not what i expected, and definitely not what advertised.

I am an airline pilot and darkness of the lens is perfect to reduce excess brightness above the clouds. Good quality, my referece was Gunmetal Frame/Green G-15XLT Lens and It is from Milano - Italy. They are comfortable and about their weight is light; Lens color is green but sometimes appear black , depending on the refraction of the sun on them. I like its style , modern, delicate and protects vision from dust and UV rays.

This is my second time I have bought these glasses. The first ones lasted a couple of years but I beat the hell out of glasses.My problem finding classes is I have a super thin face... and kind of a small head. These glasses fit great! And they even look good on my husband who has a super big head. I think they are a safe bet for heads of any shape. I just love them.This is the first time I have gotten the polarized. The only issues is sometimes stuff looks weird such as your screen on a smart phone.

I purchased the first pair at my local eyecare center with prescription lenses. I wore them for two years and they are just perfect. Then, I switched to wearing contact lenses. I had lost the non-prescription lenses that they gave me so I had to find a pair of this exact style to wear with my contacts. I can always count on Amazon. Contacts in or out, I now have the perfect sunglasses for every sunny day. Great style and quality!

Bought these as a Xmas gift for my husband. Was a little hesitant since I couldn't hold them and I was worried they might be flimsy or knock offs. But the arrived fast and surprised me with a decent case. My husband loves them! And I was stoked on the price and the fact I did so well on glasses he couldn't try on first.

I have always liked Ray-Ban and Maui Jim sunglasses and after losing my last pair, I had searched the internet looking for the best value/price on a replacement pair. When I found these at the price they were offered, I have to say that these were the best glasses/value, by far, from anywhere else on the internet. They look great and I absolutely love them!

I read a lot of the reviews about people complaining about these glasses being knockoffs, so I did some research before buying these. It turns out these pair of glasses are made both in China and Italy, although you may be hard pressed to find ones actually made in Italy. I went to a few Sunglasses Hut to check these out and they all said they were made in China. With that, I went ahead and bought them.These glasses are definitely described, I go the G-15 so the lenses are made from glass, and the frame is pretty sturdy. Other than that they do a great job of fighting the glare and look great.

So happy with and they are great.....
