Good quality
This is a popular product for a reason and I won't be telling you anything new if you already saw someone review this. I am usually very worried about purchasing makeup on Amazon but my local drug stores don't seem to carry this line and I was really curious to try it so I took a chance. The product arrived fully sealed and is in good condition so I was very pleased by this. I managed to choose a good color match just based on the photos in the listing. I was looking for a more full coverage foundation for my aging skin. I have dry skin with oily t-zone so I have large pores in that area and a lot of foundations settle into pores and dry spots. This looks really nice on my skin even when I do have a few dry spots, and it works well with primer. I am very pleased to have an option when I do want full coverage foundation for an event or special occasion. I would probably exfoliate and super hydrate as part of the preparation to get the best look, of course. I am surprised by the longevity of this product, it has a satin-like finish rather than a full matte. I prefer a satin finish to either a matte finish or a glowy finish, so I was very happy. I am really fair and they have a lot of fair toned color options which you don't see a lot these days especially in a drugstore line. A little goes a long way so I appreciate that the pump dispenses the small amount at a time. Very easy to use and practical for long-term storage.

Caramel Coverage
I had been using Iman's Carmel for YEARS. Unfortunately, it was discontinued. It took another couple of years to find my perfect match; D10 is it. It glides on smoothly, natural look, even with full coverage. I purchase 10 bottles.

Favorite foundation
This is my favorite foundation please never discontinue it! I have oily - acne prone skin and this stuff applies so naturally and wears great all day. I’ve been wearing it for years and have repurchased it several times. I prefer it to higher end foundations from Sephora.

“Matte without the mask.”
I’ve got combination skin and have always struggled to find a matte foundation that doesn’t dry me out or slide off by noon. This one hits the sweet spot. It gives a soft matte finish that still looks like skin, and it’s buildable without getting heavy. Great coverage, natural finish, and it wears well all day — no weird separation or oily patches. A solid drugstore gem!

Be Warned-- contains stearic acid comedogenic! Almost too matte!
Update-- I think this may be breaking me out in cysts (not little whiteheads, deep lumps under the skin). The past two days, ive gotten cystic bumps (forehead, chin) and this was the only new item I added. Discovered the foreahead cyst today and I wore this foundation only part of the day yesterday. Nothing else new in my skin care which leads me to this. This does contain stearic acid which is comedogenic-- can cause breakouts. I'm going to test again once things heal-- but I'm 80% sure its from this foundation being I've been playing around with it daily. I wore Outlast the full week prior and thats never broke me out, but started trying this foundation towards the end of the week and immediately have three large bumps after the three days. Ugh. If so, will be returning. ------- Additional update-- i originally bought this in shade L30 for NC15-20. However, it doesnt oxidize or dry down very dark compared to other foundations (which is a plus) so it was a bit too light. I ended up going to the store and buying L50, L80, and M10. All their lighter warm shades. After swatching all, L80 ended up being the closest match for my NC15/20 skin. So you may end up buying darker than you think. L50 and M10 arent even dark on me, just too bright peach. I may even try M15, and I normally wear Classic Ivory in other makeup brands. FYI. Update - my Amazon foundation also has the white small chunks, just like the bottles I purchased locally. It's not as bad, but you only see it after your foundation dries. I think this isn't a matter of bad batches, but the formulation. I do not use a brush to apply, I use a sponge, so if you use a brush, I don't think you'd see the little white chunks because they probably get blended out and dissolve. But if you use a sponge, they will appear. If you try to wipe the white flecks off, they smear and streak - which makes me think it's either the silica or talc not blending in the foundation. Because of this, I drop stars off this formulation, but the yellow-toned options are GREAT. I use this as a mix in with my CG Outlast and it helps match my skin perfectly. I only need a half a pump to help neutralize my Outlast, which shows you how strong the yellow tones are. Also - this is VERY matte, even when mixed with my Outlast, so I've been mixing either a pump of serum or facial oil to help the foundation apply better to my skin (and I have oily skin). ----------------------------------- Bought this online after local stores had bad batches with chunks in them. Amazon's was fine. Color bought was L30. Good match for NC15-20. Found that on my skin, does not oxidize very ,uch, color dries down to just a tad darker but not enough for full oxidization. L30 wet has strong yellow tones, but when dry, takes on a more peach tone. Tried wearing alone, was almost TOO dry for my oily skin. Tried mixing with my CG Outlast and it was a bit better. However, I prefer CG Outlast much more-- has a better mix of creamy and matte (wish they'd come out with undertones like this!) This one is just too matte and powdery. Emphasizes dry patches you never knew you had. May work best as a mix in with dewy foundations or more silicone-based foundations, or even moisturizer/primer. Alone, the finish is powdery and it makes sections look cakey (even applied with damp sponge and sprayed with illuminating spray). I give it stars for having lots of undertone options but I think folks will still need to mix colors to get a match. Will stick with Outlast.
