Don't bother with a 115v version. I tested both, and this is so much more powerful. Boils water in half the time, around 30 seconds. Heat your oil in seconds, then turn it down to sweat or caramelize onions, and the temp drops instantly. I had to run a separate outlet for the 220V, but its not hard to do when your oven is also 220V.
