This bag has become my go-to for everyday adventures. It's smaller than a messenger bag, but it's still large enough to hold all of the things I need throughout the day including a small journal, medication, bottles of water, pens, wallet, phone, and sunglasses. It's just tall and wide enough to hold a single standard notebook (10.5 in x 8 in), but an executive notebook (6 in x 8.8 in) fits comfortably. It's constructed well and made out of sturdy canvas. The detailing, like the brown front strap and patch with the brand name, are made of nice, soft leather. It doesn't close with the buckle, but rather with a magnetic snap under the front flap. The main body of the bag is closed with a zipper, so your items will not spill out of it if the bag is turned upside down. There is a nice sized zipper pocket on the back of the bag, where it would be up against your body. I opt to keep my wallet in this pocket since it's easier to get it out of there than having to flip the front panel up and unzip the main bag. I wear this as a crossbody bag, so when I'm walking around the back pocket is always pressed up against my body. I originally ordered it to put pins on it, but the canvas is so thick that it can only my nice enamel pins will go through. This isn't a huge problem, though. Overall, this is a nice bag for anyone who's in the market for a nice little canvas bag! FIVE YEAR UPDATE: This bag is still going strong! It shows hardly any ware and I use it almost every time I go out of the house. Definitely get this bag!

i read through all the reviews, so i was hopeful! but this bag is really great! lots of crossbody length in the strap, and space inside the bag. i’ve been using it for 2 months now, and it’s holding up well. i am cautious with the magnetic clasp (and don’t always have it catch). the branding tag is easy to unstitch, although i can see the holes where it was. the black is more of a faded black, but still looks good! definitely recommend!

Took this bag on a European vacation recently and it held up very well. Just the perfect size to carry a 32 oz refillable water bottle, a small wallet, travel maps, snacks, and various trinkets bought while sightseeing. It's a very durable bag and it looks really good. Love the zippered pocket on the back of the bag, as well as the zippered main compartment. Wore it two ways - across the body and across the waist similar to how a belt is worn. Overall, great travel bag and an every day bag!

Perfect size daily carry in Europe. I could fit: wallet, journal, bottle of water, sunscreen (full size bottle), battery pack for the cell phone... and still have plenty of space to spare. Being paranoid about pickpocketing, I found this bag excellent: the inner pocket was easy to access when I wanted to pay for something, but covered over by the pocket zipper, the bag zipper, and the outer flap with magnetically buttoned in place. Very easy to access for me, harder for someone to just slip a hand into. An outer pocket - again, covered by a zipper - sat next to my body while carrying it, and was more than larger enough to carry a phone charger brick and, on occasion, my cell phone while charging. The strap was solidly put together and easy to adjust - no problems with length at all. I am 5'8", and, kindly put, chunky. Overall, a great purchase which I used for two straight weeks touring all over Greece and Italy.

I bought this purse for recent travel. I do not normally like carrying a purse. This was the perfect size. It has the zipper on the outside and one on the inside. It’s not too big and bulky. This purse is very good quality.

Some of the hardware is much cheaper and does not look like the pictures as advertised. The bag itself is the look I was going for but quality feels low for the price so undecided if I’m keeping.

I bought thos purse based off of another review. They basically said it's a perfect simple sturdy purse. Not too girly. They were correct, I do not like big blingy purses either and this is perfect and simple. Not too big, but definitely enough room to carry what you need! Very well made too! No loose stitching ect. Adjustable strap as well. Would definitely recommend

I love this bag but had to make a minor alteration. It holds everything I need to carry, a small 8 inch Samsung tablet, a battery bank, I keep a Leatherman multitool in it, my keys, wallet, cell phone and other odds and ends. My only issue with it was the closure. See the picture I uploaded for more details but other than that, and I did not remove any points for it because it is only my preference and it may not be an issue for others but for me, it was absolutely needed. Now it is the perfect bag.

This is my daily purse and it's very well made and not too big

Bag is as described and looks to be what I wanted, however the tag was sewn upside down. Not a huge deal, but would send it back for a replacement of I didn't need to use it right away.
