Great AC
It is very affordable and keeps my room so cold almost too cold! It is also very easy to set up and the noise level is minimal. Highly recommend this product.

Great !
Amazing, quick and simple to set up! No regrets here ps it's a little on the heavy side

Installation is a huge pain but it works great!
The media could not be loaded. I’ve had this unit for about a week. I live in an older 2 story townhome that gets exceptionally hot upstairs in the spring and summer. Instead of keeping the whole house 10 degrees colder than I’d prefer just to keep the upstairs comfortable, I thought this ac unit would help.Once I got it set up, it was great! It is very heavy and difficult to get upstairs. The window adapter is great for windows that open side-to-side but not as much for windows that open up/down. In my video you’ll see that I had to use a large, thick chunk of hard styrofoam to fill in the gap from the window adapter. It comes with a second panel that fits into the first and slides to fit the window size; however, the first panel wasn’t big enough for my window size and, with the second panel in place, it was too large and ended up blocking about half of the vent opening. If you have a saw, you can cut it to the correct size. I did not have a saw and didn’t want to buy one solely for this purpose. The styrofoam chunk worked great for me. I also used a lot of duct tape to completely seal the window and the vent opening. I highly recommend sealing the gaps or else your electric bill will likely be sky high. The unit quickly blows out ice cold air at a relatively quiet level. It cools the room down very fast and I’ve already spent some time just sitting in front of it on hot days.I can’t speak to the remote control because I’m generally right next to the unit and was too lazy to go out and buy batteries so I haven’t tried it.I’ll be sure to update my review if I have any issues.

Glad I got it
After reading so many review, I wasn't sure about this product, but so far so good, very easy to set up, I don't find it noisy at all, cooled down my son room right away and he has a lot of gaming equipment in his room which makes it very hot, he has set it a 60 every night and its very cold in his room, I have even found it has cooled down my hall way, price was great , I saw everyone write about the plastic piece for the window that hold the hose I just cut my with a knife not a big deal and there is a little spacing issues but an easy fix, I would definitely recommend out to others

This one does what it claims.
I have 3 portable AC units. All stand alone type with exhaust hose. This one is used in the master bedroom where my elderly parents sleep and watch tv in the early evening. The room is very comfortable. The remote works great and simple. The unit is most likely the quietest of the 3. Using these types of portables has considerably lowered the electric bill since the main central air conditioning hardly runs unless things really heat up. A very positive feature is the exhaust hose. It is larger in diameter than all others I’ve seen. This probably adds to the efficiency we experience (getting rid of condenser heat more efficiently is important). This one dehumidifies better than the other 2. The cold air exhaust is noticeably crisper-cool more so than the others, which is most likely the reason for better dehumidifying. All purchases were through Amazon and delivered quickly. If I had it to do over again; I’d have purchase 3 of this brand and been happier. Easy install.

Don't expect much...
I was hoping for more from a 14,000 BTU unit. I figured living in a cooler climate (southern California a few blocks from the beach) that a 14,000 BTU would work great in a 375sqft main room of an apartment. I bought the AC unit because even when it's 73 degrees outside, it's always 10-15 degrees warmer in my apartment. I also have smokers not far from my windows so I'd rather not smell their smoke all the time.I've had the unit running on high for over an hour and I've barely gotten the indoor temp down to 78 degrees (currently 73 degrees outside). Windows closed... blinds closed... I even wrapped the exhaust hose with some insulated/reflective wrap to try and keep that heat from affecting the room. It just doesn't help. If I'm *right next to the unit at my desk, I'm comfortable. But just about anywhere else in the apartment.... nope. It just doesn't help.Just to see if it can cool anything down... I moved it to my 132sqft bedroom (11ft x 12ft). It fared *moderately better... However not much better than just opening a window and turning on a fan. I'm going to have to try and return this and buy a name brand unit.Basically... if you live in a warmer climate, I can't see this doing anything for you.
