I bought this after purchasing a similar product at AutoZone. This item is much sturdier and easier to install. The suction cup holds well to the dashboard and windshield. The adjustability is amazing as well, rotating 360 degrees for perfect viewing. It also fits my clunky phone. A reliable value item for everyday driving.

The build quality feels solid and durable, and the suction cup holds extremely well on the dashboard and windshield, even on bumpy roads. I love how adjustable it is — the arm and ball joint make it easy to find the perfect viewing angle.

Overall, I'm pretty decently happy with this dash/windshield mount for my phone- it holds up pretty reasonably well, the joints tighten down enough to hold the phone steady without getting loosened by vibrations/etc, and the suction cup does a very good job of keeping it secured to the dash mount or windshield (almost too good, heh....trying to remove the arm and suction cup from the mount or windshield once it's attached is tricky (even when the suction cup is loosened, as it's slightly sticky still)) That being said....the plastic circle with adhesive they use for a dash mount could use some better adhesive, more so if you're living in a particularly hot area and/or have a black dashboard and interior for your car....as mine started falling off within *maybe* a week or two, with all the excess heat (even into October...still hot n sunny here- but also my car has a black interior, and I was using the phone mount/driving on a daily basis- so ymmv) and I wound up having to mount it to the windshield instead. Not too big of a problem, as it holds on REALLY well by the suction cup- I just have to readjust it up/out of the way anytime I want to put the sunshade up by the windshield when parked- no big deal, I don't mind. With the dash mount, it started to come loose at the back end- so I wonder if it was the heat, or the weight of the phone being kinda unbalanced at the opposite end....maybe both? I have a feeling 3M VHB (the kind of high-strength adhesive used for GoPro mounts and the like) would be a better choice for the mounting disc piece. Though, if you're going to use that, make sure you intend to leave the dash mount where it is once applied- as it's not coming off without a fight with adhesive THAT strong... (also, don't forget to remove the provided adhesive from the mount if using something else, otherwise it'll only stick to the adhesive already on there instead of the mount itself...and will probably come apart once that stock adhesive lets go before the VHB/other adhesive, leaving the latter stuck to the dash while the phone holder and dash mount slides off ._.)

I bought this phone holder for my car and I’m very happy with it. It was easy to install, holds my phone firmly, and doesn’t shake while driving. The quality feels solid and it makes using GPS much safer. I would recommend it.

I was finally pressured into buying one of these after California passed a law this year making it a violation to be looking at a phone in your hand even for directions. Now I feel stupid for not getting one sooner. It makes navigation much easier, and is can even watch sports games on longer trips (I am still primarily focusing on the road). The product is extremely low-priced and works perfectly. There is a combination adhesive/suction mechanism that keeps it stuck to my dashboard. The joints make it very mobile and I can easily maneuver it into different postitions based on my need. Issues? It did lose grip and fall a couple times during the first month of use when jolted. However I easily re-applied it with the suction mechanism alone and it hasnt fallen down in over 6 months. This does not change my positive opinion of the product.

I purchased this phone mount for my newly purchased car. The base was too big to use on my dashboard, because of the design, so I used the mount for the vent instead. To my surprise it fits really well. Because of the design of the mount, it holds the phone in place really well because it doesn't allow the vent to move in any direction. It was so easy to follow the instructions to install the mount. I like that this has a release button so I can remove my phone from the mount. I can also charge my phone while phone is mounted. Because of the design of my phone, I need to turn on my phone and set the GPS before putting my phone on the mount. This is because the part of the mount that tighten on the sides of my phone slightly covers my power button and I can't turn on my phone. I still love this mount and I highly recommend purchasing this product.

Well, my wife aka "ball and chain" purchased this for our Ford Explorer because we were tired of our phones dropping beneath the seat and when retrieving it, we would pull out a hand full of old french fries along with the phone. Surprisingly enough, the old fries although stale and cold didn't taste too bad. Anyway, back to the phone holder, the phone holder works very well just make sure that wherever you place the holder, that you clean the area well and that the holder is on a flat surface. Good quality and I would recommend this product. So, the moral of the story is, stop fishing for your phone under the seat, because you never know what you will find, a french fry, a tater tot or an old candy bar. Have a great day!

I stuck this on my windshield when I received it, and it hasn't came off since. I would recommend, as the box says, to find the exact place you want it before pulling off any paper or sticking it to the windshield or using the dashboard pad for any reason. Find your spot then begin to place it. Once it's placed, it's best to not remove it. If you use the dashboard pad, the pad will not come off without most likely damaging your dashboard. So be thoughtful of that. You can adjust this holder pretty well to where you need it to be. There's many different swivels and positions you can choose. I would buy this again for sure!
