Banjo Corp TF300 Polypropylene Bulkhead Tank Fitting, 3 NPT Female

I had previously ordered five different products that claimed to be 3" NPT but had some finer thread pitch that didn't match any connectors I knew how to buy. This massive piece of plastic mates right up to standard hardware store components. "It's the real deal."

I made a rain catchment system and this allowed me to connect threaded PVC to make things easy.

Used this bulkhead on a tank I bought from tractor supply. Used an adjustable hole saw from harbor freight ( $8) to drill the proper size. Used a piece of pvc to slide the inner piece of the bulkhead into the tank toward the hole, then, once I had a hold of it, started reverse threading it through the hole. Worked like a charm.

Solid, no leaks

I love these for fish tanks. I had tried some cheaper ones but the gasket was so hard I cracked the tank trying to get it tight enough not to leak. Bought these and have not cracked a tank since.

Once I determined the proper hole to drill installation was easy and it sealed well. Product is sturdy and well formed.

While installing a Mini Split A/C in my shop I need to run the service lines thru a thin metal wall (Quonset hut type). It has worked as I hoped for.
