This watch is amazing

Really not sure what to make of this watch. It’s much smaller than expected. I should have read and viewed the full measurements of this watch prior to ordering. I got too excited when I saw Japan VK64 movement which is the same mecaquartz movement developed and used by Seiko chronograph watches. Since this is a waterproof watch and can be used for diving/swimming up to 100M, the band on the watch is made of “very thick” silicone with leather covering on it. I thought it was all leather but apparently not. Also, the band is 20mm which is narrower than my other watches which was fine. However, it’s too thick & stiff so it wasn’t too comfortable on my wrist. As for the features, I was disappointed to find out there is no second hand for timekeeping on this watch. Apparently, what looks like the second hand on the product images is for chronograph timer only. I also accidentally did what the product details mentioned NOT to do by pressing the “B” reset button when the chronograph hand is moving. It stated “Attention: Please don't push button B (reset) directly during the chronograph operation. It may cause damage to the movement”. I read this after putting on my watch and playing around with the buttons 😅. Would have been nice if this warning was on the retail box where it’s clearly visible.

This is not a Tudor, so I’m not going to rate it like a $5k watch. For the price you pay it’s well worth it. Great finishing on the case and bracelet. The bracelet on mine feels decent, it will not win awards but it’s perfectly fine (although it has zero taper which is odd). Crystal appears double AR coated and is very high quality. Dial is beautiful. Mechaquartz movement is very accurate. THE LUME. I couldn’t get a great shot of it but this is the best Lume I’ve ever seen on a Pagani. Wears beautifully and I very much enjoy it. Minor gripes: this is not size accurate to the Black Bay Chrono, and I would’ve liked it to be a bit chunkier like the watch it’s based on. If you have dainty woman wrists, it’s a great option. The ceramic bezel is more tapered/rounded than the BB as well, and seems a tiny bit out of place on this “tool watch”. But this is not a Tudor BB, so I appreciate that Pagani has made their own little design tweaks and overall it’s still a great piece. It sits proudly next to its Swiss brothers in my case.
