I love these!
I have a simple home studio and do a lot of recording and mixing. These definitely have a bit more high's than the AKG's that I own, but somehow I prefer them. Take some time to break them in, and they'll sound fantastic. For the price, if you're looking for a cheaper alternative, these are great! I may buy another pair. The 150ohms need a good amount of power to drive them loud, my DAW (Volt 4) is barely sufficient to blast them, but perfect for mixing. If you bought these to listen to tunes with volume, I would recommend a headphone amp, or get the 50ohms version.
