Lightweight, powerful, and beautiful
I’ve been a full-time Mac user at home since 1998 for personal and graphic design use, and I’ve been a full-time windows user since 2002 for work. Most of my home computers are Macs, though I do have one PC I use for gaming and tech-support. I bought this MacBook to replace an aging Windows laptop I had, and I’ve been tickled to death with it—the screen is plenty large, it’s got plenty of RAM for everything I run concurrently (Internet, email, Microsoft Office, RustDesk), it only weighs a couple of pounds, and it seems like the battery just lasts for days (I typically use it for 30 minutes to 3 hours at a time). I am so thankful they brought back the MagSafe charger, I haven’t had anyone kick the cable and disconnect it from my laptop yet, but I have several small grandchildren, and it’s nice to be prepared. The charging brick has two USB-C ports on it, so I can plug in a charging cable for my phone as well. The laptop has two USB-C ports as well as a 1/8 inch audio jack. I bought the model with the 15 inch screen, 24 GB of RAM, and 500 GB SSD. I think the only thing I don’t love about this laptop is the trackpad: it is nice and large, and has left and right click, but I just don’t like the feel of it, though to be honest, I don’t like the feel of trackpads in general – – I miss the track stick that was on my work-issued Lenovo laptop. The remedy is I just simply bought an inexpensive Bluetooth mouse and that works perfect, no extra dongles. I had been planning to buy a MacBook Pro, but since I don’t really do freelance anymore, I couldn’t justify the expense. It’s just as well, this laptop has all the power I need and more.

Great Computer with the perfect sized screen
My son, who is a software engineer, wanted the Apple MacBook Air 15 for Christmas. We got this for him and he was thrilled! He said it is so easy to work with and is so fast, he gave it a five star review! It does everything he needs and has so much storage. He said the size of the screen is a perfect size, it’s not too big and it’s not too small. He uses it for work and for personal use and he says it doesn’t exceptional job with both.

Best Laptop I ever used.
So I should preface this by saying, I am not an apple guy. I primarily use Windows on my desktop and I daily an Android phone. But, I love this laptop. It is fast, silent due to not having a fan, and just a joy to use. It did take a while to get adjusted to MacOS but within a day I was used to it. This is by far the best laptop I have ever used, The screen is great, the battery is quite large and even when doing web browsing all day it sips power. The lack of any USB-A ports is a little bit of a bummer, but I am okay with it. MagSafe is by far the best power connector ever, I remember using it on my old macbook when I was in high school and loved it. So, even if you are in the Windows and Android camps like I am, definitely think about getting a macbook, cause there are still apps out there that let your android phone talk to MacOS like KDE Connect for example. Great job Apple. Ya sold me on this.

The MacBook Air That Feels Like the Future in My Hands
The MacBook Air That Feels Like the Future in My Hands I’ve been using the Apple 2025 MacBook Air 15-inch with the M4 chip for a few weeks now, and honestly, I’m still amazed every time I open it. From the moment I lifted it out of the box, the build quality made me feel like I was holding something truly special. The sleek, slim design is light yet incredibly sturdy, and the 15.3-inch Liquid Retina display immediately grabbed my attention. Watching even a simple video felt cinematic—the colors are vibrant, the contrast is perfect, and the clarity is unlike any other laptop I’ve used. The M4 chip is a complete game-changer. Everything feels instantaneous—apps open in the blink of an eye, multitasking is effortless, and even high-performance tasks like video editing or 3D rendering run seamlessly. I tried running multiple creative apps simultaneously, and the performance didn’t skip a beat. It’s clear that Apple has pushed the limits of speed and efficiency with this processor, and it feels future-proof. Storage and memory are generous and lightning-fast. Even with multiple large files and projects open, I never experienced a slowdown. The MacBook Air handles heavy workloads with ease, which makes me feel confident that it will keep up with my needs for years. It’s a level of reliability that truly changes how I approach my work and creative projects. Battery life is incredible. I can spend an entire day working on intensive projects, streaming, or browsing without worrying about running out of power. Even during back-to-back video calls or long editing sessions, the laptop remains consistent. Not having to constantly look for a charger has made my workflow much smoother and less stressful. The 15-inch display is a game-changer for productivity. I can have multiple windows side by side without feeling cramped, which has made a huge difference for my multitasking. It’s perfect for working on documents, designing graphics, or even just keeping several tabs open at once. The Liquid Retina display makes reading and editing a joy, whether it’s text, images, or videos. One of the things I didn’t expect to love as much is the keyboard and trackpad. Typing feels smooth and responsive, and the backlit keys are perfect for late-night work sessions. The trackpad is huge and precise; gestures are intuitive, and I haven’t experienced any lag or misclicks, which makes navigating the OS feel effortless. Speaking of the OS, macOS is smoother than ever on this M4 chip. Features like Mission Control, Spotlight, and the seamless integration with my iPhone and iPad make switching between tasks incredibly efficient. The ecosystem Apple has built feels cohesive, making my workflow much more streamlined. I’ve also been blown away by the speakers. Watching movies or listening to music is immersive, with crisp highs, deep mids, and surprisingly rich bass for such a slim device. It’s the kind of audio quality that makes me prefer using the MacBook Air speakers over external ones in casual settings. Heat management is excellent. Even after hours of intensive use, the laptop stays cool and quiet. I haven’t noticed any fan noise or overheating, which is rare for a device this powerful. It’s amazing how Apple has managed to pack this level of performance into such a thin chassis. The design is both elegant and practical. Its slim profile makes it portable without sacrificing screen size, and the 15-inch display strikes the perfect balance between productivity and mobility. Carrying it around feels effortless, and it fits comfortably in my backpack without feeling heavy. I also tested the MacBook Air for creative work. Photo and video editing feels smoother than on my previous laptop, and color accuracy is incredible. The M4 chip handles rendering tasks in record time, which has genuinely improved my creative workflow and allowed me to experiment more freely. Connectivity is seamless. Thunderbolt ports, fast Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth work flawlessly with my external drives, monitors, and accessories. I’ve been able to set up a multi-monitor workspace at home without a single hiccup. This level of reliability makes it a dream for both work and entertainment. Battery longevity combined with performance is what really sets this MacBook Air apart. Even after a full day of editing, web browsing, and video calls, I still have enough power to continue using it for casual tasks in the evening. It’s rare to have both speed and endurance in one device, but Apple has nailed it. The screen’s True Tone feature and high brightness make it easy to work outdoors or in bright environments. I took it to a café one afternoon, and the display was perfectly readable even in sunlight, which made me realize how often I used to struggle with older laptops in similar conditions. The laptop is quiet, almost eerily so. Even under heavy workloads, I barely hear it running. This makes it perfect for libraries, cafés, or quiet workspaces, as it doesn’t distract either me or anyone nearby. I also appreciate the attention to small details, like the trackpad’s haptic feedback and the smooth hinge design. Every interaction feels polished, and it’s clear that Apple focused on user experience down to the tiniest details. For creative professionals, students, or anyone who needs a high-performance laptop that’s also portable, this MacBook Air is perfect. It’s capable of handling professional-level tasks while remaining light and elegant enough for daily carry. I’ve even used it for casual gaming, and while it’s not a gaming laptop, the M4 chip handles games smoothly at medium to high settings. Combined with the brilliant display and good speakers, it’s a surprisingly enjoyable experience for downtime gaming sessions. Overall, the Apple 2025 MacBook Air 15-inch with M4 chip has completely exceeded my expectations. It’s sleek, powerful, portable, and future-ready. Every aspect—from performance and battery life to display and design—feels thought-out and premium. I wholeheartedly recommend this MacBook Air to anyone looking for a laptop that combines power, portability, and style. It’s more than just a laptop; it’s an investment in productivity, creativity, and daily convenience. Every time I use it, I feel like I’m holding a device that’s ahead of its time, and I genuinely enjoy every moment spent on it.

Switching From Windows After Years.
It took a while to get used to the new system but coming along really well. Quality product, really thin and light weight. Keyboard is great. I have not found how to turn off track pad as I use a mouse, but the trackpad is not so sensitive it interferes with the mouse. Easy to set up and get started. Love the Midnight color. Now using it as my main laptop after only a week with my Windows machine now a back up. Battery life is outstanding and tactile touch on keyboard is great. Connected to wifi immediately and stays connected. Can't say I love it yet but it is growing on me. My wife has a 12 year old MacBook air that is still going strong. We did buy her a new 13" and she loves it.

2025 MacBook Air 15" with the M4 chip has been the perfect combination of weight, power, and price — especially for a graphics-heavy interior design workload. It’s light enough to carry all day without thinking about it, yet powerful enough to run design software, photo editing, large presentations, and Apple Intelligence features without hesitation. The 16GB unified memory keeps everything smooth, even with multiple creative apps open, and the larger 15-inch display gives just the right amount of screen real estate for layout work, mood boards, or CAD previews. Battery life is outstanding, the machine stays cool, and performance feels nearly on par with far more expensive pro-level laptops. If you’re a designer who needs portability without sacrificing capability — and you want a price that doesn’t jump into MacBook Pro territory — this is an exceptional sweet spot.

I’ve been using the 15” MacBook Air M4 for about 1.5 months. Despite its fanless design, it stays remarkably cool during long sessions. The M4 chip is incredibly fast, handling multitasking, creative apps, and more effortlessly. The 15” Liquid Retina display is stunning, crisp, vibrant, and bright with excellent colour accuracy, making it great for work, streaming, or editing. It lacks ProMotion (120Hz refresh rate) and mini-LED technology compared to the MacBook Pro’s display, so it doesn’t get as bright or offer the same deep blacks and contrast. However, for most users, the Air’s display is impressive. The sound quality is fantastic, with clear, rich audio that fills the room. Despite its size, it’s incredibly light and portable. This MacBook Air is a great choice for most users, unless you crave the Pro’s 16” screen with its superior brightness, contrast, and smoother refresh rate. Highly recommend!

I am taking Web and App Development and was required to get a mac for learning Swift. I have never been a fan of apple products but I have to say I absolutely love my macbook. It runs so smoothly, is reliable, easy to use and has no issues keeping up with my classes, coding and design needs. My only sort-of issue that really isn't much of an issue is when zooming in and out on Photoshop there's sometimes a white border that isn't actually there when you zoom in to double check, making me think I messed up when I actually didn't. Teacher said it is because of the macbook's graphics card. Other than that I am very happy that I chose this macbook air and look forward to my coding & design future with it! It arrived quickly and very well packaged.
