Great Electronic Portable 6 stage water filter
Charged up and used. Great 6 filter electric system. Compact and works well. I charged it by plugging it in to my high speed charger. I haven't used the solar panel charger yet. The tubes do need to be laid out so there is no kink in the tubes. When doing this outdoors this is easy. Indoors when trying to use it without making a mess is a different story. I have found as I got older, I seemed to get a mild version of Montezuma's revenge when I travel outside of the area I live. Being a scientist I hypothesized that this might be due to a local bacterial/viral load in the water.Since I started using filters to treat water while traveling, I have had no issues with this. If you have any type of arm pain, an electronic filter like this is ideal. It works great fits in it's carry box with enough space for an extra pre-filter. It even comes with a small carabiner clip to attach to a strap, if you are hiking or going out on a trip. Also, given the issues with forever chemicals in todays world, this does have an Activated Carbon Filter section which does remove some of these chemicals. It is easy to use and the input and output ports are protected that helps to keep them from getting contaminated.

water from the beaver fever creek came out perfect nobody got sick!!!
this item works perfectly if you have the time the filtering is very slow (fine for us) it takes about 30 mins to filter about a gallon of water. that being said the water after filtering was perfect clean and ready to drink.

Just get it!
Just did an overnight backpacking trip with my family and this was the favorite item we brought. At first I was a little worried by the size/weight, however it proved its value. The solar panel is sensitive and keeps everything working great. We used it to purify river water. It was efficient and the water was better tasting than from other filters I use. When the power ran out, the hand pump continued to run smooth. It was also invaluable for keeping our devices charged (I purchased a much shorter charging cord to minimize weight and bulk). We didn’t need the light as we are at more than 18 hours of daylight here in Alaska, but it’s still a great feature.

There is a lot of confusion on the filter
While I think the product itself is pretty good, I wanted to see how much water the filter would...well, filter. To do this I had to look up replacement filters and then I got really confused. One filter says it is good for 33,818 GALLONS, while another filter by the same company says it is good for 33,818 OUNCES. Both filters list for $20. So, based on the listings, one filter will filter about 4,000 gallons more for the same price?Back to the unit...It is pretty much ready out of the box (although I still recommend a quick wash of the hoses and such before use). Simply plug the pre-filter into the black hose, black hose to the back rear of the unit, clear hose to the top output, drop pre-filter into water and turn the unit on. One issue: the external charging cable that came with it says it is a USB C...but it does not fit into the unit. I simply used one of the hundred spare cables I have here, but that could be a problem for some. Sure, it's solar powered, but why go out to the camp site half charged?

Just Big Enough for a Sip
I saw the size and laughed. Then I thought about how much I paid for it and wanted to cry. You could almost fit it on your back pocket. Those glasses in the photo must be shot glasses. So if you're wanting enough purified water to just wet your tongue, this one's for you! Don't know if it works. I just threw it in the closet.

Small but perfect
If you have a bomb 💣 that has exploded outside no need to fear you got clean refreshing water!! This is a neat little contraption thankfully, I have not had to use it because of a bomb, but I’m getting my apocalypse preparedness kit just in case and I will be ready. Water taste pretty good. It’s pretty small though so don’t expect a whole lot of water. It’s probably about a bottle of water that it filters out
