Amazing!
These pens are surprisingly nice quality for the price. The stylus tip works well on my phone and tablet, and the ink writes super smooth. I keep one in my bag and another at work. Handy to have around and they look sleek too.

Great value in a set of quality mesh stylus pens
Great as pen and stylus, apparently well constructed, a lot of nice touches I'd have appreciated at twice the price. ChaoQ are the first stylus-ink pens I've seen in the right form factor with all the features I want at a reasonable price. Highly recommended based on what I've seen today, but I just got them - details follow.I mislaid one of a pair of stylus pens I got about 5 years ago and have with me constantly, figured it was time for some backup. These ChaoQ pens ticked the right boxes for me - a pen that takes standard refills with a mesh fabric capacitive stylus on top and a pocket clip. At $10 for a set of 4 along with 4 refills each of mesh and rubber stylus tips, along with solid reviews, it wasn't much of a risk, and the variety color pack seemed like a fun option.I'll update this review if my opinion changes with experience using them, but I have to say, these really exceeded my expectations. The pens have a smooth, solid-feeling Cross-style twist action (kinda comes with the territory for pens using Cross refills, but there are a lot of cheap Cross-nots that get this wrong). They're quite a bit thicker than typical Cross pens, more like a Parker Jotter in cross-section, which I really prefer anyway; these feel great in the hand as pen or stylus (those who like "Cross skinny" may want to take note). The red and blue (near indigo) colors are rich-looking, with an iridescent-metallic appearance, while the pocket clips are neither too tight/rigid nor too flimsy. The ink pens write smoothly as well. There are about a half-dozen ways to disappoint me in a ballpoint pen, and these ChaoQ pens manage to avoid all of them; it's probably the nicest $2.50 pen I've ever had.It also seems to be a very good stylus, the fabric sliding easily across the screen while the tip is firm enough to tap check boxes or other selections without having to mash it into the screen. The mechanism for securing the tip to the top of the pen (push the tip onto a post in the middle of the threaded top, then secure with a screw-on collar) works well. I have hopes this will prove stable over time (capacitive tips on my old pens were a bit more elaborate, but tended to loosen themselves without a drop of LocTite on the threads). If this is the kind of thing you're looking for, I'd just grab these. If a family member could use a dual-purpose pen/stylus or two, these would also make great stocking-stuffers.

Good product, wish the pen part was better
Writes great, however the pen twists alot as you write so you have to stop writing to get the ink.

Excellent pen/stylus
I purposely waited 6 months to write a review since all (ALL) my previous styluses gunk out or broke within that amount of time.I love love love this stylus! The weight is good and not too heavy or bulky for my smaller hands. The pen looks much more expensive than it actually cost. It’s kept its shine and luster without getting dull. The ball point pen writes with a good ‘glide’, no globing or sticking even when it hasn’t been used for writing for a while. The all important stylus tip works great. It creates a good contact with my iPad screen and my iPhone. I don’t “write” much with the tip, mostly tapping and scrolling but it gets constant, hours on end-use. I started using the fiber tip and it worked great. Constant use caused a very small hole (less than a centimeter) breakdown in the fibers to develop which DID NOT interfere with the stylus’s use. Merely cosmetic. So I’ve changed the tip to the rubberish only tip to see how long that lasts or if it picks up the residue from the screen cutting its efficiency.Bottom line for me - this was a great purchase and well worth its cost.

Work very well
I got these for my husband to use on the touchscreen at work. He likes them way better than what work gave him to use. The writing tip is smooth, and the screen stylus works well. He particularly likes to use the mesh tip. It's much more responsive than the spongy tips he has used before. He says, "You don't have to thump the screen like you have to with the soft tips." The mesh is not harming the screen at all, and they are much, much easier to hold because they are the size of normal pens.Edit: After using them for a few weeks, he brought them home to be repaired. The little tips that guide the writing tip (sorry, don't know what they're called) have been falling out. There looks to be a plastic piece that holds them in place, but we can't figure out how to move them back into position. I used a tiny drop of super glue, put the guide back in, and that seems to be working. Sending them back to work to see how they hold up.

Somethings wrong
Purchased this service because it fit the best utility for a pen and stylus combination. The ball point pen works extremely well. The rubber and micro cloth stylus work for about 2 weeks and then need replacing. They each wear out with no noticeable deteriation.....no holes, no tears. They just quit functions by not conducting. Really a strange circumstance. This is to bad, because I have almost used up the extra stylus heads and only used 1 pen out of the whole set. I might try purchasing replacement rubber stylus', because I really like this pen....smooth writing, the correct size for shirt or pants pocket and fits the stylus holder of a couple of devices, and it is built well. But, I will not be purchasing this set again, as a replacement for the original.

Incredible Pens
I use these pens every day at work and I can't live without them. They have a bit of weight to them that make them feel durable, and they write rather smoothly. The mesh stylus is the best part of them though, because they are very durable and don't squish too easily
