Nice bean pot
I’ve used the bean pot once to make Boston baked beans. Pot help 2 ponds of beans. Worked great. Lid fits perfectly. Cleaned up nice. I baked beans at 300 deg for 6 hours. I saw a review someone wrote and their pot cracked. I guess they could have gotten a bad one, or they were using a high temp. Directions say 300 deg max.

Great pot to bake beans
Always wanted to try my Mother's baked beans recipe and finally got around to picking up this bean pot. Looks like a traditional "French-Candadian" bean pot that I grew up on having beans every Sat. Made my first batch and it was delicious. Brings back memories...

Works Perfectly, With a Little Thought Applied
Used these for the first time last night with the Costco frozen French Onion soup. Cooked them for 40 minutes in a 400 degree oven, and they came out perfect. When cooked, the soup only filled the crock about halfway, so they're more than large enough for the task. Yes, it's hard to clean up under the lip, it's not a smooth transition. And yes, there's a hole in the bottom of the handle as part of the manufacturing process. Neither of these is a dealbreaker, but if you put them in the dishwasher and expect everything to come out perfectly you're asking for trouble. Fill them with water after use and let them soak a few minutes, then hand wash them. Don't submerge them in dishwater. They come clean very easily, and you don't have to worry about water getting trapped in the handle. I'd buy them again. They're just what I needed.

I am absolutely thrilled with the Traditional Style 4.5-Quart Ceramic Bean Pot! This pot is not only functional but also beautiful in its traditional design. The 4.5-quart size is perfect for cooking large batches of beans, stews, soups, or even casseroles. The ceramic material ensures even heat distribution, making the cooking process smooth and efficient. I love how it retains heat and keeps food warm for a long time, which is perfect when serving guests. The craftsmanship is impressive—sturdy, well-made, and easy to clean. Plus, the lid fits snugly, keeping moisture in and enhancing the flavor of whatever I’m cooking. The pot also looks great as a serving dish on the table, adding a touch of rustic charm to any meal. Overall, I’m incredibly satisfied with this bean pot and highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys slow cooking or traditional kitchenware!
