We got these because my husband works outside in all kinds of weather and needs to take notes while inspecting facilities. And they are great. As they come in packs of four so we don't have to replace them often and they fit really well in his pockets (coat or pants). He has his phone and can make notes that way but he likes to leave it in the office for the other shifts to use and review without having to send the info via text or email.

Smudges with pilot pens (which makes me so sad because they’re my favorite)!! Would probably work more effectively with standard bic pens.

Absolutely the best bang for my buck. I’ve used it in the rain and my notes did not get smudged. These are way better priced compared to other brands that do the same thing. Will definitely be ordering more.
