Great gift
I got this for my husband for his birthday. He loves it. It fits his rifle well and its doesn't take up a lot of space. He's only taken it on one hunting trips so far but says it easy to use. He says its light weight and has enough padding for his preference. So far its been his best birthday present to date.

Good for the money
Fits my mossberg shockwave great.Short enough I still have plenty of room to grab the handle. Only rated 4 stars because I had to modify the strap into two separate straps so it sat higher on my back so I was able to still ride in the saddle.

Perfect for my Remington Tac14
Perfect for my Remington Tac14. Some others say they don't like the idea that the grip sticks out, however that is one of the reasons I purchased it. You have to be able to grab your firearm for protection and this is the perfect scabbard.

Great scabbard
I ordered this for my Mossberg Shockwave and it is a perfect fit. Plenty of padding to protect and leave the stock/grip very easily accessible. It holds it firmy in place but can be removed easily. Will definitely order another when the time comes.

Good quality and great value
I have seen other brands that cost a lot more and they are equivalent quality of this model. I use this to keep my truck gun protected during travel and easily accessible when needed. Good quality product and a great value.

Don't purchase for a Shockwave or Rem 870 tac14!
Purchased this for my Mossberg 20ga Shockwave for carrying in my truck. I agree with some of the other reviews that are not that great.1. Not deep enough, trigger guard exposed.2. Due to lack of depth, throws shotgun off balance and doesn't "ride" correctly when slung.3. If you have your own sling attached to the shotgun itself (I made my own paracord sling), you can shove it in the scabbed, but if you need to access it quickly, toss that idea out the nearest window.4. The sling that comes with it is useless, due to the fact it slides out of position, doesn't hold the adjustment. We get what we pay for. I can't afford a better one, will have to do for now and at least it provides protection for the barrel getting scratched up when carrying in my vehicle.

Shoulder strap is useless
The scabbard is pretty good quality for the money, but the design of the shoulder strap makes it totally useless. It uses D-rings that are attached along the centerline of the scabbard, so it’s impossible to get it to lay flat against your body. It just flops around, and gets in your way. I imagine the mole attachment works great, but I don’t wear a vest with mole straps.

Better Than Nothing
Bought this "scabbard" for a Mossberg "Shockwave" short 12 ga. and while others say it fits, I disagree. The trigger guard is not covered; it should be 3 inches longer. The D-rings are on the wrong side for me -- being right handed, slung over the shoulder, carried behind me, the grip is backwards, and there's no D-rings on the other side to make it ambidextrous. Only time will tell how loose it becomes around the gun, but as it is, the short length and the weight of the gun fully loaded causes it to tip toward the opening. It's easy to imagine the shotgun falling out if I were hiking with this thing over my shoulder. It should grip tighter than it does. In short; better than nothing, but I wouldn't buy it again, and I can't recommend it strongly. If you have nothing, this will do, but don't expect much.
