Fabulous for skiing
Cushions falls well on snow ski slopes. Extra padding on hip and coxis .

Poorly designed
Very poorly designed. Padding is in the wrong places. Contrary to the description, there is no padding on the hip (greater trochanter) - where you need it most! I discovered this the hard way, whilst wearing these snowboarding. The padding around the thigh muscles (especially anterior) seems largely unnecessary. Impact shorts aren't generally needed for skiing, but if you are considering purchasing these for snowboarding or other high-risk activity, I would strongly recommend choosing a better designed product.
