I Just Love Chintz
Waverly Charleston Chirp Quilted 20 in. Square Pillow, Cotton . This pillow, made to coordinate with Waverly's Charleston Chirp collection, is 100% cotton percale, with cotton fill. It is easy care: machine wash delicate, tumble dry low, no bleach. I know it is totally out of style, but I just love chintz, what can I say. And I find Waverly's Charleston Chirp collection is a perfect example of old-world tradition, updated with classic styling, and clean, contemporary lines. The design features branches of roses, tulips and dianthus, with wrens, accented in a gentle pallet of papaya, sage green, orange rust, eggshell blue and lavender on a soft vanilla ground. On this pillow, the all-over nature print is further enhanced by vertical stitched quilting. Mind you, I purchased this pillow to go with already-purchased bedding, valences and curtains. Some people might think the bedroom is a lovely retreat; others, a bit over the top. I know, I know, but I just love chintz.
