Its been almost 10 years since we had our hardwood floors refinished. Through life, kids, and all else they were looking a bit worn. I purchased this cleaner and polish combo hoping for the best, but I wasn't expecting it to work miracles. I started by mopping the floors with warm water. Once dried, I used the Weiman floor cleaner which was really easy. Literally just squirt on the floor, and cleaned small sections at a time. I then let that dry as the instructions stated. I then used a new microfiber pad and applied the Weiman polish liquid. This was also really easy to do. Literally just squirt out a line about 1-2 feet long, and I would then polish a section that was about 4'x4', and I moved around the room doing this until it was done. Nothing fancy, just squirt on, push with the mop, and I let it dry. I was PLEASANTLY surprised with the results. The floors have a nice shine to them and look like they were refinished that same day. The polish did a decent job of filling in some light scratches. Not a miracle in a bottle though, I can still see scratches but I wasn't expecting it to repair them. The floors shine like new, and look fantastic. We entertained twice this past weekend with lots of people and kids running all around, some liquid spilled and some food dropped. The floors still look great. Not sure how long it will hold up, but if I have to reapply every 3-6 months I would be very happy with that durability. So far I highly recommend this cleaner and polish product of its ease of use, and beautiful results. UPDATE: -OCTOBER: A month later, the floors still look fabulous, I am VERY IMPRESSED with this polish. I can't wait to use this on the rest of my floors. -JANUARY: 3 months later, the floor still looks great. I was hoping for at least 3 months of shine and it has proved it can last at least that long in a high trafficked dining room with kids. We entertained a few times over the last few months, lots of kid spills etc, and the shine is still there. I plan to do the rest of my house when I can find the time to empty rooms (This is the hardest part of the polishing). HIGHLY RECOMMENDED STILL!

My house is over 120 years old, it's safe to say it has a lot of imperfections and as some would say character! The floors are no exception they definitely have age to them and this stuff brings them back to life! I love the shine and just the beauty that this brings out in the wood floors. The only reason I'm giving this four stars instead of five is simply because I have several small breed dogs that do tend to run all over the place and I noticed the floors tend to get dull faster than I would expect and need a new coat. Now this could just be because my wood floors are so old or just because I have several small dogs, but I feel like people that would have larger pets or children may have to put more coats on more often then every 6 months or so. But if you can get past that this stuff works great and I do not think you'll be disappointed! The cleaner smells great and does an excellent job as well. Definitely worth the money to get the luster and the cleaner!

This combination makes my 20-year-old hardwood floors look beautiful! I have 2 small dogs who track in all kinds of stuff, so my floors are very well used. I start by dry mopping the floor, and then use the floor cleaner. I have an open concept home, so there is a lot of floor that needs to be done at once. I start at one end of the room, move the furniture, use the cleaner, and then let it dry for 15 minutes. Once dry I apply the polish. I let that dry for at least 30 minutes (coffee break time), and then put the furniture back and move on to the next section. I also apply at least one or two extra coats to areas that have heavy traffic. My floors look so beautiful when they’re done that I’ve had other people ask me what I use. In between doing the whole thing where I move the furniture, I might just use the cleaner and polish on more heavily traffics areas.

I have tried a lot of different floor cleaners, and usually, I have to open all the windows because the chemical smell is so strong. I was happily surprised that this one doesn't have that issue at all. It is very pleasant to use. As for the results, it did exactly what I wanted. It cleaned off all the grime and left my hardwood floors looking absolutely spotless and shiny. It restored that "new floor" glow without leaving a sticky residue behind. If you want a high-gloss finish but hate harsh fumes, this is the one to get.

I had a bad case of dirt buildup on a high traffic area of my floor - around the kitchen and bathroom - I guess due to moisture. I had to do a pretty thorough cleaning using metal instruments first lol. And when I was done, I needed a good chemical cleaner and some sort of a restorer. These two bottles fit the bill almost perfectly! The cleaner cleaned out the last remaining dirt from all the crevices and scratches in my parquet floor. That was awesome! Next, I used the restorer. I'd give that one 4 stars, frankly. It is very good and does give the floor that bit of shine. But it leaves smudges that are not easy to smooth out to make the floor look uniform. A caveat - my floor had a coating of lacquer from years ago which has worn off in spots - that could be the reason for the smudges. Also, it didn't really help get rid of or disguise the scratches all the well - maybe a bit. But the overall result after using the two formulas was excellent - my dad was amazed at it when he saw the difference - could hardly believe it. So, overall 5 stars is in order here. Buy and use with confidence!

The parquet wood floor in this home was not properly treated in over three decades. It looked beyond hope. The center of the room was a high traffic area and much darker because the two sides were somewhat protected by area rugs. However, the rugs did not do the floor much good because the backing from the area rugs had deteriorated into sand underneath, scratching the floor. Decades of grit and grime were wiped away. The wood soaked up the cleaner quickly, so smaller areas were cleaned. After applying the cleaner and waiting the recommended amount of time, the polish was applied. The instructions for the polish as well as the application were just as easy to use and follow as for the cleaner. WOW. The difference from before and after was amazing. It looked like an entirely different floor. It no longer looked old with years tread upon it but brand new and ready to start again! I strongly recommend Weiman Hardwood Floor Cleaner and Polish Restorer Combo to anyone who does not like to clean floors and is looking for an easy way to get the job done and to anyone who thinks their floor is beyond hope.
