Having purchased the Beacon to upgrade the flying experience of my X1, I was hopeful that this would all work. My initial attempts to forge communication between the drone and the Beacon failed. I googled the situation, only to discover that others had, had similar experiences. The firmware upgrades needed were not possible via the convential means. This searching also unearthed a PC upgrade approach using a software tool called Flykit, available from Hoverair support. I messaged support with precise details of firmware on the Beacon, X1 and the app version currently deployed, together with serial numbers. Within 12 hours, I received a detailed response with a download link to Flykit, and instructions regarding how to use it. Bingo.....success! From the jaws of despair, I was rescued, and will remain eternally grateful to Hoverair's support department for their prompt and precise attentions. Oh, and the Beacon has made a huge difference, especially for a biker like me!

The battery has now failed and is noĆ¾ working for the price it's not fit for purpose a replacement is needed as amazon only has a 30 day return policy how and where do I return it to
