They worked great. I think they look very realistic.

People were worried that some would confuse the real pine cones, that decorated the tables, with the chocolate fondant ones I made for the cake with this mold and try to eat one. They were very realistic looking. Getting the texture of your fondant was paramount and took a time or two to master but it was well worth the effort. Would love to have one for larger pine cones as well and different types.

I watched the Nicholas Lodge tutorials on YouTube for this Katie Sue Designs product and found it easy to make pine cones for my winter themed wedding cake. I used a little cornstarch to add "snow".

I was looking for a mold to quickly make a total of 50 small pine cones as toppers for cupcakes. I was looking for a mold that was deep enough to allow me to put two together to form a 3-dimensional pine cone. With just a slight adjustment and a little piping gel…perfect! Easy to use mold.

Worked better than expected. Used a bit of icing sugar to coat the mould and each cone came out perfectly. Was pleased with the overall effect on my Christmas cake. Would like to buy some more of these but they are a tad pricey, that would be my only complaint.

Made very realistic looking chocolate pine cones for woodland themed cakes. So easy to use. If not so expensive would buy more in this range.

Easy to use once I got the hang of dusting it well on the inside as its quite intricate, very well made and should last for years
