My Water No Longer Tastes Like a Haunted Pipe
Installation: Slid in like it was born to be there. I didn’t need a wrench, a prayer, or a YouTube tutorial narrated by a guy named Randy. Just popped it in and felt like a certified water wizard. Compatibility: This thing fits more models than a Hollywood casting call. GE, Culligan, Pentek—if your house has a filter system and a dream, this cartridge probably fits it. I half expected it to work in my toaster. Performance: My tap water used to taste like it had unresolved trauma. Now? Crisp. Clean. Like a mountain stream that’s been emotionally validated. It filters sediment, chlorine, and whatever mysterious floaty bits were haunting my ice cubes. Durability: Two-pack means I’ve got backup. Chlorine and rust gone!
I have been using these filters for about one year, I have hard treated city water, but it still has chlorine and rust that is totally filtered out. I put this filter ahead of my water softener and all of our water in the house tastes like bottled water. Our family has stainless tumblers and we have almost totally eliminated bottled water. The main reason I installed a whole house filter system is to remove the chlorine, this filter totally did that. The price is reasonable, and the performance is excellent. I change the filter out every 4 to 5 months.

Perfect replacement for a bunch of whole house filters
I've used these for a long time on a outside whole house filter. I change them every 3 months, and the ones I take out are nasty.

Works for keeping nasty stuff out of your water.
They do just fine in the 2 filter housings I have for my house(Sediment filter at my well pump, and in the garage just in case something got past the sediment filter), perfect fit. They lasted 6 months or so before I remembered to replace them, and nobody noticed any water quality issues. I'd buy these again without hesitation.

I live off grid and have gravity fed water that is of high pressure (150 psi +). Since installing the filters in-line my expectations have been met or exceeded with this set up. Simply put, fantastic product!
