I just took this on a trip to Cape Cod as my personal item bag in addition to a carry-on and LOVE it because of the extra pockets and the crossbody purse that comes with it. I was asked to store the crossbody at boarding bc the attendants considered THAT the personal item. I was able to easily reattach it the front of the bag, board and no problems. I will confess that I do have a bag addition and this one is my new favorite.

I ordered this because I need a waterproof bag that also meets under seat requirements for domestic flights. It fits the second but not the first. A note that came with the bag explains that the material is waterproof, the zippers and other places are not. Disappointed

I got this bag for work as I sometimes carry items into work and need a backpack. I love the color, it came as pictured. The zipper quality felt really durable and works well so far. I feel like there could have been better storage and more pockets, especially the ones that aren’t fastened by a zipper but rather a button - doesn’t feel very secure to me so I probably wouldn’t want to use those pockets much which limits the ALREADY limited pockets. For this reason, I am taking off a star but otherwise, I like the style but it’s the shame about the capacity and pockets.

I am a mom with young kids and sometimes I need to bring my laptop with me to do a little work while they are playing at the park. I really like the design of this backpack, but It just isn't as easy to use or as easy to organize in as my diaper bag and I am disappointed in this execution. There aren't many inner pockets inside the one large portion. There is 1 netted, zipper pocket that is a pretty good size, can easily hold a small notebook or paperback with some pens and highlighters. There are also 2 netted, open top pockets I can keep about 3 diapers in each (for a total of 6 diapers) and there is the partition to separate the placement of the laptop with the larger portion. No interior side pockets to stash snacks or keep your cables contained. Packing for kids, this is something I generally need. If I'm traveling with only 1 of my children, this can work, but if I have more who I am packing snacks, changes of clothes and all the other little necessities in addition to what I need to work... it's just too little organization capability. I really like how the laptop partition is COMPLETELY separate from the rest of the backpack- this is helpful of you are trying to keep that portion cleaner so dust or crumbs will be less likely to get into the ports of your device. I will also note I have a 15" Lenovo Ideapad 3 and it fits perfectly in this laptop slot- the backpack still closes easily and fits well on the back despite being slightly larger than the product page says would fit in the pack. I also really do NOT like the exterior pockets- the side pockets (which I generally use for a water bottle) has no stretch or ability to grip the bottle once it is in. I cannot even get my 32oz Qwala dupe with it's silicone boot on- the silicone sticks to the opening of the pocket but needs to be forced in and when it is pulled out the boot comes off. The front pocket does not close! It only has a snap, not a zipper. I cannot image when people would keep in there while traveling, it is a big pickpocketing risk since it is so easy to access- its basically open! I like how there is a hidden pocket that sits against the back and in zipped closed- this is great for some emergency cash or maybe plant tickets, but since it sits against the back, you wouldn't want to put something bulky in there (like a phone charger or wallet). I also want to note that I love the framing on the mouth of the bag- this makes it SO easy to open and access the whole content of the bag, but the rub is that it is impossible to zip the bag back one handed, I NEED to used one hand to stabilize the frame closed and the other to work the zipper. I also would hesitate to call this "ergonomic" like the product page does. The apex of the shoulder straps only has a quarter inch of space, so the pack exerts a lot of force at the base of the neck if worn high. It is slightly more comfortable to wear looser, but I do not like having a pack fall below me waist. on the whole, if you don't have many little pieces you need to organize, this will suit your purposes. I feel like this backpack is a bit substandard for my needs.
