I was looking for a tamp and this checked all the boxes. Solid heavy feel in your hand. It has both springs for leveling and the 30 lb spring for pressing your grind . Then it has a stainless base with a circle pattern for better distribution . The core rod is also stainless and has enough thread so it doesn't feel like it would strip out with repeated use. The handle is aluminum and the tamp carrier is as well . Overall all I would say its a well made or the price compared to other brands.

works like it should and easy to press. I haven't cleaned it, I just brush the grounds off. nice looking and sturdy. The 51 mm is a little too small for my DeLonghi Portafilters which are supposedly 51mm. So I might try the next size up.

Great tamp tool for the money! I own a coffee roastery and consider myself to be as much of a coffee snob as anyone can be. Aside from having near-perfect water, exact temperature, and precise grinding, a consistent tamp is one of the most important things you need for a perfect espresso every time.There are few shortcuts or bargains on grinders or espresso machines that don't sacrifice the quality of your espresso, but this tamping tool is as good as you can get at any price. It feels good in hand and is comfortable, and the 30-pound spring keeps every tamp of your espresso grounds the same. This tamper fits a 58mm portafilter perfectly, and if used with a distribution tool, you can expect every espresso pull to be just as expected as long as your weight, grind, and temperature are the same.

This 58mm tamper works with manual pressure perfectly. It looks great and tamper moves smoothly. It doesn’t have for adjustments, which is not needed, the tamper will self-adjust/level. . .depending on your basket/coffee grounds depth.Tamps 58mm (58.5) /22g basket correctly.

Broke after I used it consistently
