Can only give three stars as my dog did not seem to care for it. Tried multiple times, and at best he would only mildly lick at it (likely only to appease me). This appears to be a high quality product which I am sure most dogs would love.

My picky dog likes it, but not as much as I hoped. Not sure if we will continue to purchase because of the price.

My little girl, (9lb Shih Tzu, 9 yrs old) is very food motivated and yet sooo finicky! The one kibble she does like is a kibble that has added freeze dried bits. She eats the freeze dried pieces and leaves the rest! I tried making a gravy type sauce to add to the kibble and it got her more interested in the kibble. A friend suggested this Altira dog gravy, so I looked into it. Glucosamine for her joints, aloe Vera for her itchy skin and other assorted all natural goodies, including mushroom! I believe in the power of mushrooms!! I ordered it about a month ago, and the 1st couple of days left me feeling defeated! I tried 2X a day. She wouldn't go near it. Day 3 I watched her slowly sneaking up on her bowl and sniff it. Within an hour she had eaten breakfast! Since that day she actually asks for it and waits for me to add it to her food! I have noticed less itching and paw licking and I believe its the gravy since I haven't changed anything else. I will continue to use this product although my next order I may try the non bacon version because I simply don't like the smell of bacon! If she doesn't like it as well, we will ofcourse go back to the bacon flavor since she is the one eating it!! This came packaged nicely. There's a seal under the cover, so no leaks in transit. And the top is nice for just squeezing out a small amount. I've seen others in the reviews saying it is pricey for the amount, but if you are following the recommended amount it is pretty comparable to other meal toppers that don't have all the benefits.

This is the product that I've been needing! My dogs love the flavor and get excited for meals. I love the ingredients and the many ingredients that benefit the whole dog's body... Skin and coat, tummy, hips, joints, and heart health! All natural is a great plus! I've been struggling to get the right nutrients. Everything they need is in this topper. In an accurate measure, by weight, for every day. I highly recommend this product.
