It works. Better than others.
Love this. Used in car. Stays on when turning off car and starting car up again. Ports are essential. Has 2 usb and 2 USBC. For older phone charging cables and the newer ones. Good quality. Love that connection doesn’t need to be refreshed. It just works. Not like the previous one I had! Recommended for your car!!

Great USB 3.0 4-port hub with on/off switches
It works as intended. I liked the switches to turn connected devices on only when needed. The blue LED indicator lights give visual confirmation of each port status. For desktop use, I find the top-mounted USB ports to be easier to manage rather than front/rear mounted ports of others. The 2 ft. connecting cable is durable and just the right length for desktop use of a laptop. I did not need to use an optional USB C external power supply.

four port usb hub, with supplemental USB power supply
out of the box, four stars. this usb hub does what it's supposed to do, though I wonder about its reliability long term. The power buttons feel a bit crunchy, like they're probably not meant to be frequently used, but they do work to individually enable each downstream port. USB-C power works well enough to illuminate the power lights on my downstream devices, presumably reducing the power draw on the host. USB2 high speed works; all of my USB3 devices are usb-c. The Genesys Logic chipset is well supported by Linux; there appears to some quirk that causes a mostly harmless warning to be printed in the kernel log (on multiple kernel versions, machines, architectures) shortly after connecting but it doesn't seem interfere with anything afterwards. Note: this hub back-feeds power to the host. Supplying power via the USB-C port will energize the upstream port and may power the host device. That may not be a problem (or may be desirable) if you're running the host and this hub from the same battery brick or other isolated supply, and it may be a problem in other applications. will update this review in a month or two after it's been in the electronics battlefield that is my backpack.

Exactly what I needed
I have a turtle beach stelth 700 gen 2 max headset that works on both my PC, xbox, and ps5. I have 3 dangles ( also 3 of these ) to conect it but they all pit out a signal at once and makes the headset have connection issues. Now I can leave them plugged in but turn the USB on or off as needed so there no cross signal and the headset can connect where I need it to.

Great for connecting other USB devices
The package arrived in good shape. It is a pretty solid hub. I connected my joysticks, wireless mouse, and a portable hard drive (as external storage) to it. Worked perfectly well so far! Pros: - The separated on and off buttons! These helped me a lot, I don't need to unplug my joysticks or change the config for games that have control conflicts with keyboard/mouse. As well as the portable drive, I just press the button afterward. - Good transfer speed. - Have enough space between the ports, and the ports are facing up, so it is pretty easy to plug and unplug when necessary. Well, I don't do that a lot, I just use the buttons. Actually, I think people who do that on a daily basis probably would like this design better. Cons: Nothing to complain so far. Overall it is a very cost-effective USB 3 hub, with some good additional features. One more note is that the package doesn't include an external power source, the manual says if you want to use 2 hard drives, you will need that.

Power management for multiple usb hard drives
The ability to power off individual usb slots for drives is a nice feature as external hard drives will still use battery power while plugged in, even if ejected/removed from the file system. The flat design is great for tabletops, and with the on/off button design you should plan to have this within reach.

Performs well; haven't any problems using as a travel hub
I'm using this as a travel hub and it's working perfectly. In fact, it feels faster on my external SSD than your standard USB 3.0 hub. I suppose there is something to the 10 Gbps specification! Anyhow, I haven't had any problems and it performs well, so.... BT recommended
