I liked the model of the Airstream only wish it was a little larger.

This is the worst quality item I have ever purchased on Amazon! I buy items daily and am 98% satisfied with all of them. For $26.25, I expected a metal, Airstream replica that was well made. It’s a 1 oz or less, piece of plastic! I feel scammed. I will be contacting Amazon to request that this not even be shipped back due to cost of food compared to cost of shipping. I’m in shock! Shame on this distributor.

To the people who complained that this model is small, and plastic, try reading the description. It clearly says It is an HO Scale model and that it is made of plastic. It is not a die-cast child's toy to be thrown around a play table with Matchbox cars. It is a display item meant to be included as scenery in a model train set. HO Scale is 1/87, so it is actually smaller than a Matchbox car scale, which is 1/64. The model is beautifully made and has a polished silver finish, as many classic Airstream owners restore their trailers to. It even has clear windows with what appears as fabric curtains inside. For a tiny model, it is very detailed and well executed.

For the price, I think this could be much better. It looks really great. If you're using it for a diorama or shadowbox like I am, as long as no one touches it, it's great. But it feels very cheap to the touch. I don't understand why this can't be built better when I can buy a Hot Wheels die-cast car with great detail for half the price. That being said, I understand the production on HO Scale Models is smaller, costs are higher, and this does have some pretty cool detail to it. If it's what you need for your scene, then it's what you need.

This is a spitting image of the Airstream once owned by my late parents, so I had to have it for my HO layout. Looks great being towed by one of my many vehicles or just parked in the driveway of one of the houses.

I ordered this for my sister for a Christmas gift as she has an Airstream trailer. It's very authentic & very detailed to look as they do in 'real size'. But it was very small. I had hoped it would have been a little larger to show up more on her tree. But overall was pleased with it.

it broke the first time my 12 year old boy played with it nad just normal activity. he loved and is sad. i would like to buy him another but they are expensive and hesitant to do so. hoping the seller will reply with some solutino for me.
