ColorGo Chip Bag Sealer, 2 in 1 Hand Held Mini Portable Heat Sealer for Plastic Bags Food Storage Resealer with Safety Lock [Upgrade Version & Patent Protect]

I am getting tired of potato chips getting stale and chocolate melting (particularly in this hot weather). So I decided to give this chip sealer a shot. Here are some of my thoughts:• Look/Design: The chip sealer is well-designed to fit in your hand, with battery slots on the bottom and a knob at the top to switch between the sealer and the blade.• Sealer: I’ll comment on both the sealer and the blade, though I was particularly interested in the sealer. There are pads on the top and bottom that use heat to meld the chip bag together. It was a bit difficult at first to get the bags to seal, but eventually you get the hang of it (i.e. the correct method of sliding across the top of the bag). The seal is quite effective. While you can probably find some small pockets of space, this is clearly much more effective than using a clip or rubber band. I’ve had no issues with re-sealing the bag after one or two days at a time (I typically can’t go without chips for much longer than that!).• Blade: As mentioned, I was more interested in the sealer, but I did try the blade as well. My assessment is that it gets the job done, though it’s probably not necessary and could take a few tries as the blade is small and not that sharp.In summary, I’m happy with my purchase and will certainly use the chip sealer as a means of extending the shelf life of potato chips and other pantry items.

I was sceptical at first, but I put two double a batteries in it(doesn't include batteries), and let it heat up for a few seconds and tested it on a chip bag and it sealed it like I had never opened the bag before. It has a magnet on the back so I stuck it on the fridge so it will always be found when needed and doesn't take up any drawer space

This sealer is very small and sticks to your fridge. Very helpful in packing the leftover chips or groceries, I was surprised to see how perfect the sealing was. Hold the button and move(slowly ofcourse) it to seal the opened package, as simple as that sounds. This needs two AA batteries, which are not provided with the sealer. I wish the batteries were provided so that we need not wait to use the sealer right away. I will beusing this at home and may buy one more for the camping trips.

Ok, so this was a very inexpensive product so I had zero hope of this actually working. Once I found a set of batteries I was pretty impressed. I was able to seal my cereal and a bag with Italian bread. I am very happy with my purchase thus far!

this thing really works. I am impressed. I went through a lot of research and most part of them were bad quality and stopped working. this one has been working good so far

This product is horrible, it does not seal and it is very hard to use. I tried 2 different sets of batteries and the batteries were very warm to the touch. I tried 3 different materials to seal as well. I would not recommend.

A little hard at first, but once you get a hang of it , it’s easy. The magnet does not stay on the fridge though.
